Who are the Mercenary Specialists

- Hello everyone! So I was looking at the Calling Card Mastery section and noticed that the bar for "Going Down" which is to kill 500 Mercenary Specialists to unlock just wasn't moving like I thought it should. I hate the Mercenaries and I am all too happy to engage them when we meet so I felt
that bar should have been more than what it says.
Time to put on the lab coat and run some experiments! By going in, hunting
down each specific Mercenary type and seeing who counts and who doesn't.
So without further adieu, I give you who is and who isn't considered a Specialist and the best way to get them.
Callofduty, MW3, Zombies, Mercenary, Specialist, MercCamp, Stronghold, Convoy, Contracts, Legacy, CallingCard, GoinDown - Ігри

Same here... that seems to fit the bill for "Specialist". Still xant figure out why the Knight doesn't count but the other two do.

Thank you man!! I just finished this card up last night, still need a few Warlord kills but the rest is done. Clicks that box pretty quick with the Camp/Stronghold/Warlord cycle, even the new Warlord they put in with the update.

Thanks! All I have left is this card & 3 more warlords. I sniped Dokkabi & her troops from the crane before going in to clear out the rest of them & only got 8 specialists.
Nice! The Warlords are the best option as far as quantity but it isn't an easy task taking them down. The MORS sniper with a Pack a Punch to get the explosion is a big help, didn't have that in the game when i made this video.

This helps massively! Outside of a few contradictory Reddit posts/comments, there was virtually no information about which mercs counted. Appreciate you doing this for the community!
Glad it helps!! I saw the same type of comments you mention where some said yes this type counted and then someone else said they don't. Figured someone had to do the ground work.

Did you think about farming the Act 1 final mission with Dr. Jensen? That's all mercs to battle there and wonder how many, if any, specialists mercs appear through that whole mission.
Been a while since i have been in that mission, i do remember a goodly amount of Elite and Soldiers, some Snipers as well but not sure how many of the needed types are in there. It may be an option

I hate recons because i can fully plate up and if they run up to you with their knives it will take all your plates away with 1 swipe
Seriously, why are they so strong with that! Be doing just fine and all of a sudden one of them will ninja up behind you and crack you with that massive hit. I usually toss them a semtex as well, but flinging an Aether Blade at them is also so satisfying, lol
What’s the most efficient way to farm the relevant kills?
The best way would be to hit a Merc Camp (gets 1 or 2), then hit a Merc Stronghold (another 2 to 4) and finish up by clearing out Legacy's Stronghold (15 to 20). These are required for additional Calling Cards in that mastery so you'd be working on those at the same time. Legacy is where you get the most per run, if you can survive it.
Can anybody just tell me which ones instead of sitting through half an hour?

I could just tell you, but where's the fun in that. End of the video has a card that shows the result but if you just skip to that it will make me sad.
@@JackRabbitMax if you could just put it into the description or into the comment section that'd be helpful and also I'd still watch the vid. Could also mention which kind of Contracts to go for that spawns mercs, cuz not all could know that.
