TC Electronic Skysurfer reverb pedal review

If you need a reverb pedal, this is a really good option. The TC electronic Skysurfer reverb pedal costs around £30 and sounds great. In this demonstration I plug into into the effects loop of an Orange Micro Dark, mainly because reverb pedals sound better through effects loops, and use a cab I made.

For those who aren't in the know the delay when you put the mix on full is probably the predelay which when the reverb waits a bit before it kicks in to help the dry signal come through it's a shame they don't let you control the amount of predelay but nobody is going to die because of it :)

Love it. £30! No shimmer but what a great little pedal. It’s now permanently attached to my micro dark in the hidden bookshelf compartment in my lounge

Sounds like a great little pedal. I managed to get a Behringer RV600 for approx $55. It too is a great pedal. It has about 10 different modes including space which is a shimmer type. Great video

I have the H.O.F 2 already. I was thinking of the Skysurfer. Does it take the tone away?

Seems like your gain/distortion sounded a lot like a fuzz effect. To me a simple metal rock distortion would make it easier to judge the reverb.
