    This is already kilometres better than the original one. You are detailed as to physically show your terminology, how said practice applies to the end goal and most importantly how one can grow after they have learned the foundation. Admittedly, you have still a few grammatical errors in your English but in comparison to before these little misses can be easily ignored and do not stop the viewer from understanding the point trying to be conveyed. Personally, I await your advanced aggressive tutorials with excitement and hope you, your school and shop are doing well.

    Thank you! I always tried jumping forward with a pizza V shape on lift off to boost my jump forward. I now realize that's my mistake. All I needed to do was to focus on jumping upward instead of forward👍 then let momentum do the rest♥️

    This is the tutorial that helped me the most out of all the jumping tutorials online, thank you so much for putting it together, Daniel. I would be interested to know what the progression is from here, i.e. whether your stance changes at all on take off or landing when you are jumping off ramps, inclines, speed bumps, obstacles etc. Thanks again! 😀

      @@skamidanenI think the difference between this video and others is its aimed at people who are struggling with jumping. I think many tutorials just assume we'll learn by seeing a jump which doesn't help someone who is stuck. Thanks again

    • @skamidanen
      @skamidanen  Рік тому +1

      @@IsaacGallegos Thanks again! I really try and like to break down things, so everyone can learn it. Just showing a trick or technique will learn you about the name and ho it looks like, but it doesn't show you how to learn it from scratch.
      I myself often struggles to learn thins because of my mindset/fear, so my personal solution is learning all the small steps, step by step until I can mage the whole trick.
      I'm happy that this is also a good way to teach others. :)

    I was randomly thinking about how to jump on skates. Particularly at the use of the tip of the toes, which i don't use well on skates. Didn't find what i was looking for in this video but do you have any advice on how to use them to jump higher ? I still jump higher without skates to this day. Never worked on it so i feel limited. I jump just like you do in the video but i'm looking for maximum efficiency and maximum height.

      Yes it really did all your videos have really helped they are so thorough. Just started skating like 2 weeks ago the muscles in my legs are still coming alive to being low in the squat and lunge scissor positions amazing feeling when your muscles say oh that's how I'm supposed to be and your like I got. I think progression on inline skates is one of the most exciting things I ever done I don't know why I waited so long. Too bad I live in the states or I would definitely be doing one of your classes over there. But seriously man thanks for all the time and effort you put into these videos I'm sure it helps a lot of people I know it really helps me. Have a blessed and peaceful skate

    • @vwrabbit4life
      @vwrabbit4life 6 років тому +1

      I used to do a lot of squats and lunges in some workouts I used to do and now that I'm realizing it's like the same muscle engagements things are really coming to life. I think muscle engagement and being in the right squat positions while skating is overlooked on some videos but all your videos kept emphasizing on the right posture and that's what finally woke my skating up.

    Hi Daniel, your tutorial is great, but there's a problem. The problem isn't the video, infact I am facing it. I am able to jump WITHOUT skates, but as soon I try to do it while wearing skates, I can't. 🥺
    So you as my skating Teacher, kindly guide me.

    • @brijeshmkt
      @brijeshmkt 4 роки тому

      I too am having the same problem. After some practice, I can jump with skates, but as soon as I see obstacles in front of me I am unable to jump. After watching the video of T stop from @skaMiDan I found that I was making the mistake of not keeping body weight on leading leg while doing scissor. Once I started keeping my weight on leading leg in scissors, I was able to do T stop easily.
      I guess even in the jump we need to keep body weight on the leading leg. I have asked for help from @skaMiDan on this.
      @muhammad, I hope this helps you.
      @SkaMiDan Thank you for your great tutorials!

  •  6 років тому +6

    Yo Daniel,
    great video! May I leave a tiny feedback? Please consider the following:
    When you say jump, you pronounce it like 'chump'. Is is consistent on your side. When you say jumping, just or anything that begin with the letter J it sounds like 'chumpin', 'chust', etc. Albeit it was funny when you said 'I'm just joking'.
    Try to pronounce like Germany or George. Micheal Jackson. I'm sure you can pronounce right Micheal Jackson.
    Anyway keep up the good work, I really like your work in youtube!

I'm always happy to get some possitive words, as well as to get constructive feedback! It helps to improve my work and to make better and more helpful videos. In this case it helps me to improve my English skills, so I will work on it! At the end it helps all of us and we will grow up together! ✌😉 For this reason, thanks pretty much for your hints, tips and advice! 💪🙂🙏
