Nice
Hi Just planes. Can you please also post the dates of the flights, i was working at KEF for over 4 years and i know many of that pilots and crews. So many nice memories. That would be awesome, thank you:)
@@markusfuerst1909 July 2, 2016
I'm blown away by the First Officer who has worked the back of the plane as well as the ATC Tower on the way to becoming a pilot. You won't hear many men going that route.
The crew on this flight is always great. When I worked as a dispatcher, the crew would arrive and during turn around would go buy out to buy flowers (tulips) sometimes and come back as soon as we could start boarding.
Impressed with both these pilots. Very professional and seem genuine about loving their jobs. Great video.
that landing was like butter. Beautiful. love a good 757 ! and am very lucky to work them every day in my job. Great aircraft
Thanks for putting us in the cockpit with you two. Smooth and professional. Nice video!!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for commenting!
That is how you land a plane! Very smooth, almost no smoke from the tires. Love these close-up/in-cockpit video's, I can watch them all day long! And ofc as a Dutchie,
757 is my favourite aircraft !!! Just beautiful 😍
The sleek look of the flying pencil is second to none!
I once heard a pilot describe it as a Ferrari disguised as a Toyota.
Ya its an awesome plane, hopefully it stays around for another decade!
I am enjoying being in the cockpit. I have appreciation to all the training the pilots have. They are very professional.
Glad you enjoyed it Ray!
Love the updated avionics on the 757.
Indeed, what a difference!

The 757 is my favourite airliner. And now with the updated cockpit, even more so.
The view outside these windows is beautiful with amazing skies, terrain, and landscape. I love seeing the rain shaft and how that rain reacted to these windows as well. Watching these pilots as they control this amazing 757 is awesome. You learn what they do and how they do it. Awesome takeoff and landing that sounds amazing by these great pilots. I enjoyed the different camera positions in this video; you see everything. Love seeing the other planes during the taxi. I also enjoy the outside plane spotting; that plane looks and sounds amazing. Amazing and beautiful plane, great airline, friendly and happy pilots, and a lot of information to hear; I love it all. Awesome video.
Thank you Shannon for your lovely comments and glad you enjoyed the video!
The Boeing 757 is an awesome aircraft that filled a unique hole in the aviation market that has arguably not been filled since. Among many other features, it can carry up to 30 tons of cargo which is important for countries like Iceland where agriculture is quite limited.
It is indeeed
What a landing. It was so smooth you couldn't hear the lane bump the runway.
Landing was smooth as silk. Great crew.
I have awful anxiety about flying. Watching these professionals helps to demystify the process, which puts me at ease. Thank you.
Let me tell you something, If you flew once a day everyday it would take approximately 55,000 years to be in a fatal accident that’s alot of flights. Flying is the safest way of transportation
Landed on that runway at Schipol a few years ago. I swear it took another 30 minutes to taxi to the gate. Great video!
Thanks Jim glad you enjoyed it... and yes sometimes it does take an eternity there to taxi in!
in 2019 I flew from Orlando to Keflavik and from Keflavik to London. When we arrived in Iceland there was an announcement at the terminal that ALL flights would be leaving early due to an incoming storm. They weren't joking, as we were climbing the steps to the 767, the wind was so strong, the woman in front of me was almost blown over the side, if she wasn't carrying her case, she'd have gone over for sure. It was a scary takeoff but I was told, the Icelandair pilots are very very used to this
Excellent flight crew -- thank you!
She was my instructor
Thats cool!
I feel sorry for you
@@lewis6200 i feel sorry for you more
She looks like a good pilot to me.
10:37 Good catch by the FO.
Wow dude! Your content is amazing!
Thanks very much. Glad you enjoy it!
Absolute butter on that landing. Plane was running on tippy-toes for about 30 metres.
Beautiful video too. That view through the windscreen was priceless.
Great Video, awesome takeoff and smooth landing!
Thanks very much!
757, the coolest commercial plane there is.

I love videos just planes ✈️
Thank you very much. Glad you enjoy the videos 👍
Love this aircraft - my favourite narrow body for many reasons (The B757's big sister is great also).
The F/O featured is an aviation super star - F/A -> PPL~B757 Type -> ATC -> B757 F/O!!!
WOW! I am in awe. What a well accomplished woman. She is awesome!
Glad you enjoyed the pilot and indeed the 757 is a fantastic airplane!
wow. she'd had most jobs in aviation!
Dedicated.
Very cool!
Awesome thumbnail! We love (all women pilots from) Iceland.
Thanks John, glad you enjoyed the video and thumbnail
Well flown with the wind 60 degrees off the runway and gusting!!!....... the captain is suited to this aircraft his stature...the 1st officer maybe a "sleek" Gulfstream? Thanks for the video...Go Iceland!!!
very rare super soft landing by the 1st officer
Cool video of your landing !Vielen Dank. 🛫♥️😊👍👍👍
With pleasure Thomas, glad you liked it!
Another excellent flight video by Just Planes. I love the whole format from beginning to end.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for commenting!
I think the FO needs to be in the left seat. She's awesome!
This is number.....5 & 7.... I like number specials join with 757 is my favourite aircraft !!! Just beautiful

We do too and can't wait to go back filming them again!
God blessed IcelandAir🙏
So cute and skilled
😍... Im in love !!!
It seems like the plane's cockpit's aviation systems got upgraded with the larger screens?
Like for video and greetings from Montenegro!
Well done achieving your dreams,FO!
Awesome story! wow she has experience in all positions, she can sure fly me!
Loved it. :)
Cool, thank you!
Excellent video 👍. Enjoyed the narrative by the FO, very impressive educational/professional background.
View forward is beautiful.
Surprised to see FO using a Microsoft Surface Pro tablet computer 👩💻, they have terrible battery 🔋 life... and Microsoft will not address the problem.
Thank you L P glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for commenting!
I ask for prayers from all of you for the Sriwijaya Air incident, with flight number 182 which fell in the waters of the Java Sea, on Saturday
Nope
We had a female captain recently. Also a 757, trusty, reliable plane, unlike the latest Boeing models.
15:03 that trusty hand to help out 😂
That landing, she floated to glory! Did she need atc clearance to touchdown or what?
She’s beautiful 😍
Landing was smoother than passing a hot knife through butter
haha thats an interesting way of describing it but ya!
best crew ever !
LINDO VIDEO AMO A LOS AVIONES DÍOS LOS VENDIGAS
Merci pour ce moment
Avec plaisir David!
The captain said in the event of a rejected take off they will make sure brakes are set then announce the evacuation.Might be a good idea to shut down the engines before evacuation!!
Very Nice
Thank you
Very good
Thank you
JP.......Congrats for this fatastic vid.......professional pilots....teamwork!

Thank you

We'll try ;)
Interesting manual throttle inputs on approach while configuring.
Very nice 👍👍
Thanks!
Great video really .... but I have more than one question first this job as a captain is very interesting and beautifully but the bad side of that job as a captain on your own life ??? second: what that highest height the plane reached and from which distance the should arrange there plane for a safety landing ... thanks for your beautiful wonderful videos and professional crews and for all
Bravissima!!!!! 👍👏👏👏👏👏
Salute
HELLO. THANK YOU
Very welcome Luan
If you go to 30:50 and look above that girls head, you can see 5 tall buildings, i miss them (they got taken down)
Strong winds… Goddddd
👍
I would love to fly with her she’s gorgeous
Easy ...
The Captain is getting breathless just speaking.
I'm a bit worried passenger jets need dashcams now.
There's something about flying a multi million dollar piece of tech and still doing all the paperwork before flying. 😅
Hmm why there is no Master Warning or any warning at all when switched AP off? I never saw that before... and the handoff the controls while still rolling at the runway is a bit too fast for me as well.
Not sure about the 1st question... but on the 2nd one, yes they do handover during the roll... mostly around 60kts.
Capt looks stressed out.Just cant chill....

wat software u use for takeoff performance calculation
It's called EFRAS, which was developed by Condor in the early 90s.
Девушка за штурвалом это прекрасно!!!
👍
9:35 Looks pretty bright outside. Can they see where they are going?
CoPilot she done one mistake when she said i convert from gallon to kilo it must be liters , plz correct me if I'm wrong
Hello sir.
I say she did right. In commercial aviation the fuel is always (at least in Europe) measured, calculated, reguested from ground service and refueled in kilos. The standardation came to aviation prevent accidents like "gimli glider" in the past.
It’s tons so kg is correct
I just flew 7.5, why am I watching this?
hahaha, you like flying I guess...
I thought for sure she was gonna go nose first😬
Shouldnt the first officer have total control of the plane including the throttle? The captain had the throttel and first officer the control, strange.
Actually it's quite common. The decision to abort rests with the captain, so many airlines make it a policy that the captain sets take-off thrust and holds the throttle until V1. It's one less variable for the FO to worry about.
@@RealDukeOfEarl Thank u for the answer.
Funny how everyone here is saying "great, smooth landing" etc. That landing was borderline outside of the touchdown zone, with a 757 on a wet runway... Wasting 900m of runway isn't a good landing in my book. I tend to believe that the captain thought the same thing, as he puts his hand back on the yoke just before touchdown, possibly preparing for calling a go-around, which would have been a perfectly good call/decision in this situation as well.
Exactly, those commenting are just enthusiasts, don’t even long how long was the touchdown, bunch of boot lickers. All they’re doing it’s just following SOP,
@Dirk Tonnaer That is 100% what the Captain was doing. I guessing the first time he touched the yoke at 40 feet off the deck he almost called my airplane and second was for go around. Hard to tell with the camera angle but it didn't look like to me she had it quite down the center either.
@@daca478 blew my mind that all these people were saying great smooth as butter landing lol. One lady said FO should be in the left seat haha not on any plane im getting on!
Lmao funny how all of you think you know any better. You have to realise it was very windy and it gets quite complicated to land an aircraft in such strong winds. Yes the captain was kind of "bossing" her around in the icelandic parts but that's his job as the captain. If she would've floated a bit longer they should've initiated a go-around but the float wasn't that long and she managed to perform a safe and secure landing. For the record the landing was quite smooth, it wasn't perfect but they rarely are in such winds.
@@drewinda810 "It didn't look like she had it quite down the center" Where the hell were you looking? First of all it's a crosswind landing, in that case it isn't fully aligned with the center line and second it is pretty much in the center on touchdown if you look closely and follow it.
Why don't use the native language of Iceland? All international crews use only English to operate
Local language is normally spoken in cockpits if no vital info on the flight is exchanged. In France even ATC is French.
i challenge the camer persons the director and the producers of just planes i challenge them all of just planes to please tell us and followrs of just planes to reveal and tell the name of the fist officer that beautiful pilot on and this video please tell us fans of the the female first officer please the blonds name thank you ,i love this video she is so profesional and takes her time with main pilot and she has a great attitude and answers the pilot perfectly and professionally ,also great flight
I only remember her first name which is Laufey. Names of pilots on each film appear in the credits at the end of the program.
Ladies amazing prefect
whats the women that is the first officers name please just wondering ,i think and know she is a great pilot and then guy pilot trusts her so much that he lets her do the flying ,but i just wish to know the women first officers mane please???
He told you. Sheesh!
I just remembered that President Trump also owns a private 757 I think it cost him $100 million I think the best plane of all time is the 737 then the 757
Why include a clip of an ICE 757 landing on a different runway at AMS?
Beautiful colleague?
Landing was horrible, I’m sure he told her something off camera. Go around would’ve been the best solution to negotiate a safe landing. It looked like she was embarrassed towards the my aircraft call out
☹👍👍👍
