I first heard this song in my basement in the winter of 2015 in a drunken haze with several people I love and was very close to at that time in my life. My friend Steven was playing it on my guitar in his free and ramblin' melodic voice, and I began to cry. I remember it well. I long to hear his voice again, and I hope that wherever he is now in this world, he's doing just fine.
