By far the best r/c boat channel on youtube! Great info & work!
CAN"T AGRE WITH YOU MORE.
You're so so right !
I totally agree with James Williamson. The only r/c boat channel I like and watch.
Every footage highly informative & down to earth great guy.
Don't change.
Don't 'grow up'
Thanks brother glad to help
dear ironclad rc thank you for doing this video, i searched for carbon fiber inlay found your video, and man it really helped me considering it was my first time trying it, turned out really good thanks to you putting this video up, thank you very much !!
Congratulations on 10K. We all love your channel period. The best to ever do it.

BOAT GANG!!
Well that waz cool as hell to watch. Orange and black 2gether is my favorite. Looks awesome cant wait for the next vid in this series super stoked
The layup turned out excellent
Congrats on 10K subs!
Thank you sir , unbelievable.
I’ve been enjoying your videos as a new subscriber! May I assist your skills by sharing some information.
I’ve been working with carbon fibre for 5+ years now and I find its best to give your resin base layer a good tack. I use slow resin from west system and my tack is 4h. Then the cloth goes down and cures after being rollered in. 6-8h later you can top coat and you will see the improvement.
My other tip is use a silver sharpie to mark your cloth as you go strain blind when cutting…
Also never use a brush. It’s guaranteed to leave hair.
Boat gang bro!🤘🇨🇦
Thanks, I do appreciate the information...
@@IRONCLADRC Also you can use 3m super 77 or air tack to glue the carbon before cutting to avoid toe nailing the ends of the fabric 👍
Good stuff bro, love the color of this build
I think I'm gonna use red cooling line. Should give her a nice accent
Cut a piece of 3mm plate for the transom. A buddy of mine will go threw and soak up all remaining epoxy. He says he will sit with the hull for like a hr
That’s great for fibre glass hull , but is there a way to lay carbon fibre Kevlar into ABS plastic hull, manufactures like Krick that bought ROBBE boats out say do not use Epoxy so is there a alternative
Any way great video for glass fibre hulls 😊
I just did a carbon fiber inlay in a miss geico 24 abs hull. You can use epoxy in abs plastic hulls without issue
Hey big b. What do you do. To get boats ready to run in saltwater. Or is it mostly care after you run it in the saltwater. I was thinking some corrosion x on all the outside hardware. But im not sure
I use corrosion X on my rx/x and inside my servo, that's about all I use corrosion X on. (Use caution using corrosion X on wires it'll make them stiff) most importantly make sure the boat is water tight, run your boat in fresh water make sure there's no water leaks if there is fix it then run it again in fresh water till you have a dry boat. Use dielectric grease on your battery & esc conectors. Of course rinse your. Oat real good after a salt water run, flush the cooling run, and pull the flex cable. 💪
@IRONCLAD RC awesome thanks for getting back to me.
DAM B CAN YOU DO MY BOAT? A REFLECTION OF PERFECTION.😀👍🐐🥮
