Bro - you come up with the "funnest" exercise riffs that are easy enough to be fun but purposeful enough to help us grow as players - you rock !!
Hiya Eddie - another fun riff for a WARM UP with the 3 minute riff that I already do - I find it even more fun to play it along with a youtube drum beat! Thanx buddy.
I actually play this riff already, but this is an awesome way to practice with it. I use it for double stops and slides too. Awesome video!
I've been playing for many years but haven't done some of these techniques, Thanks for showing them. Always learn new things even if they are simple because they will open new door ways to your playing and may give you that missing piece that you've been looking for.
Thank you for these 'gold nuggets'Like your style of imparting knowledge/theory: easy on the newbie, not overwhelming.
this is great. i am finally getting my head around this blues thing after months of banging through videos. thanks for this lesson
Fantastic,:g8 way to spice up practice time, the tone ranger
Hey Eddie!
I just began watching all your beginner solo
Videos. You're a great teacher and I've already learned more about VIBRATO from you than ANYONE on UA-cam! Thank you😊!
I really enjoy how you teach, less talk more joy !! Thx
Thank you, Eddie, much appreciated. Great lesson, going to do this, you are too cool. God bless you ❤
Great lesson! Thank you!!
Started watching you the last 3 days and I’m kinda liking what I see! Really good stuff mate!
A much better use of practice time -thanks. And Thanks for the awesome course. Just joined GMM recently. HOOKED !!
Thanks, just what I was looking for. Great little exercise.
Thank you Sir for a great informative presentation. Some people have that skill to teach and the students GET IT. You have this. Thanks again
Great lesson thanks Eddie just what I need.
Nice - some Funky blues. I like it. Great change of pace. Enjoyed your lesson.
you are a good teacher man..very clear...thanks!
That was veryyyy veryyyyyyyyyyy cool indeed....Sounds amazing..I been playing guitar allll my life(im 64 now) and when i seen u do this i immediately picked it up and said THATS AMAZINGGGGG...LOL..i actually TAUGHT my 17 year old son to play it extremely well...He also was blown away by it...Salute from Chicago brother.🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
You explain your lessons well. Thanks for your time and experience
Perfect for warmup! Thanx a lot Sir!
Excellent instruction !
I actually learned something similar decades back. Michael Schenker has a song called "Captain Nemo" (off his 1983 "Built To Destroy" album) that is super-close but a little more... "hoppy" and has some descending runs. Of course, Schenker has a long history of combining neo-classical, blues and classic rock in his rhythms and solos. Very cool. Stay safe everyone. Cheers.
I think it was Keith Richards that once said something like "you can't play rock & roll if you don't understand the blues". I love blues, and any form of music that has bluesy motif riffs in it.
Great Lesson
Buenísimo amigo,it helps a lot, thank you
Great lesson. Like your teaching style.
Great Lesson, I enjoyed watching! Keep up the good work!
Thank You!!...This will definitely help my practice sessions

Thanks Eddie!! Been playing this without pull offs. But will add the pull offs now! Awesome!
I was playing it by picking the string open, but I can do the pull offs now

You have me at the top of my game, Eddie and GMM. After 35 years I actually think I don’t suck too bad and might even have finally become a decent player. Really can’t thank you enough for these amazing lessons. I love playing more than ever!
I have had a guitar in my life (off and on) for 40 years. I always got frustrated trying to push past just strumming old Dylan songs. I joined the GMM VIP club a couple months ago and this time, it looks like I'm getting real results! I'm 63 now and playing in a band is on my bucket list!
Bill Anderson good for u! GMM is truly amazing.
Very good blues riff.. to worked thanks so
Love these little lessons with riffs !!!

Thank’s a lot bro , great lesson 👍👍🙏🙏
Thanks teacher
Love it
So excited by SRV is this cool riff.
Its not for beginners and I hate it when they say they are going to teach a person how to learn and pick a guitar then just showoff on how they play in other words two minutes of teaching and seven minutes of talking BS.
Great! Thank you very much.
I will try this
Awesome!
Congratulations man....i'm Brazilian ,and your movies are top
boy that is great thanks
You sir are the man Thanks Eddy . best on you tube
Love this lesson. It has a multiplicity of benefits. One suggestion. How about a short discussion of the different notes that comprise the major and minor pentatonic scales. Which notes they share and which ones they don’t. I believe it will provide some additional context and enhance understanding of their potential usage.
Dive into the rest of our YT channel ;)
The major pentatonic scale is the most played scale pattern for 12 bar blues and rock. The 1 4 5 is the essence of modern blues. It's use over the last 120 yrs has influenced the direction of modern music. Robert Johnson is said to be the father of this modern format. He has been accused of selling his soul to Satin for his ability to play. His story is short and sad but at the same time truly amazing. When I first started playing guitar the pentatonic scale opened that so called door. I then began to slightly understand basic musical theory. The pentatonic major scale was the number one reason I still play today.
Nice little exercice - not easy ! Thank you.
I'm having a little problem muting the other strings near the pull-offs. We'll get though !!!
PEACE.
