- We all love the idea of Benjamin Franklin, flying a kite in the middle of a thunderstorm and finding out fundamental truths about the world.
But how accurate are our ideas?
Imagery of the kite experiment is often riddled with errors - what does that mean for how we understand science and scientists?

Franklin was a genius, no matter how you slice it.
From What I've heard about the sentry box experiment it was never actually carried out, just envisioned. The Kite experiment would have been the first time it was actually demonstrated.
I like this very much, the communication of a concept, idea or way of thinking is often not described in detail, I liked all the details in this presentation it is logical and detailed, great job in the sharing of the reality of this event. I feel a little smarter today.
