The one at 1:20 hits really hard for me, if I even show a hint of anger or frustration my parents yell at me, but then my parents will scream at me for trying to get clarification on something and then uses the excuse of “I’m tired” or “I don’t feel good” It’s ridiculous how hypocritical they are sometimes
5:50 u offered her a treat when she was in the middle of her tantrum you could have let her finish her tantrum gave her hug then offered the treat 😒 ur just stressing the kid out
I had the same critique about that one. If she was at the height of her tantrum, a better response might've been to just sit with her and validate her big feelings and saved that offer for a few minutes later when she was more capable of processing a logical choice like that. Totally agree that no one's a perfect parent and that's fine, but these compilations are specifically focused on parenting practices so I think it's within our right to have constructive discussions about them!

As a teen myself this helps me learn how to be a better role model for other kids younger or possibly older then me! And other things :)
So teaching parents how to be counselors to their kids 💕🥲
