only saw few good hand offs and it looked like the yellow and blue varsity boys team only had 3 runners so the first runner ran an 800? thanks for doing this!

I agree, the handoffs in the 4x400 and 4x800 seem to be unpracticed. The 4x100 seems much better. I think all the teams had 4 runners. They check that at the beginning of the race. They all have to be at the starting line. There were two yellow and blue teams. One is navy blue and gold (Milpitas) and the other is a lighter blue and yellow (Santa Clara). Which one did you think ran twice?

@@dutchessofmilpitas I figured it out they had 4, they just almost ran in to another runner and the hand-off was obscured.

Not yet. He hasn't been feeling good this year - no new PRs. He has one last chance in a race this Saturday. He can still keep at it after HS - he hopes to run in college. He was 3rd in the 800m race in the ECL Finals (heat 1).
