Thank You Mors”for everything you’v tot&mentored a true legend in his own time&his legend&skills will go on threw time injoy the Forest in Heaven brother
Lost......no.....Life has an end, but if you look at the wealth of love and knowledge this man shared there is no loss, only gain, you gain skills and you pass them on for others to gain, we are very blessed for this man and what he accomplished.
R. Lynch sadly he was before UA-cam’s time were a great amount of his knowledge could be recorded. Les Hidden of Australia is one that has great knowledge also.
R. Lynch he is from Australia. He is called “The Bush Tucker Man” . Bush Tucker is their name for wild food. He work for the Australian military services cataloging any wild edibles, mostly plants, that he could find. He continued this work after leaving that job and wrote books with photos he took of all he plants. There seems to be no high quality videos of him on UA-cam. Back a number of years ago all the shows he made were available through the Tor system. He had a number of interesting shows including some shows on early history in Australia of a prisoner who escaped one of the horrible prisons there. He was sent from the UK to an Australian prison for stealing a shot glass from a bar. He escaped twice. On each escape he ate, yes ate all the people he escaped with. He did it twice!
The world is a worse place because Mors has left it. There is no one as honest and knowledgeable as Mors Kochanski left in bush craft. I and many many others will miss him greatly.
Legendary Mr. Mors Kochanski, R.I.P. May he now share some of his endeavors with Mr. Horace Kephart with a brewing pot of Cowboy Coffee over an open fire! You will always be part of my life and library forever!
I hope, that You're in good health, Sir! I want to wish You a good further life. It ALL depends, of the "CIRCUMSTANCES"... Does'nt it, Sir? Thank You, for all You've learned us. I'm gratefull, of what a valueable person, like You, have learned us, Sir! Best wishes from Norway!😀👍
My question who put a thumbs down on this. Rest in peace Mors. You had more backcountry knowledge in your little finger, than I do my whole body, but I'm learning.
Not sure I really care for the survival ration.....lots of sugar. I guess it would give some short term energy. Respect for Mors however. Glad these videos are preserved for future generations.
Jezzzz, its sucks a shame that someone or whoever kept dragging Mors out and (it seems like) making him review and try to talk about this stuff. He struggles with things to say and sometimes it seems like he's seeing the item for the first time. You can see him lose his train of thought and just struggle ...... sad! RIP Good Sir !!
RIP Mors. Thanks for all the knowlege.
What a badass when he proceeds to actually taste the jellies and smarties! That man was fearless!
RIP Mors, you freaking legend!
This gentleman had forgotten more than most folks will ever know. Have fun in heaven brother.
Peace

Rest In Peace Mors, Bushcraft Legend.. May all the Good you have done come back around to you, Sir. Thank you for teaching us.
Have to admit, I can't help shedding a tear every time I watch a Mors vid. We have lost so much.
Yes we have lost however at least we have some of it recorded.
I'd give my eye teeth to have recordings like this of my grandpa.

Great to see Mors
Nice hiss!
Wow. He just straight up ate those WWII rations. 😅❤
Very informative!
very interesting. amazing that they jammed all that in that tin, have the tin for water/coffee/soup. excellent idea. quite different today.
It looked like he was going to pull stuff out of that can forever lol. More chicken soup and less candy would have been better though.
Nice video , thank you for sharing.
It's a long way from pemmican. Your blood sugar would be a mess after fasting for a day and then rationing out all that sugar.
I have several of those smaller can openers, P38 or in this video a P51.
Why did you had to eat the candy!! Mors,
why, why!!!!!
Legend
Mors! noooooo I had no idea he passed :(

You really have no idea about him. This was something he wanted to talk about and no one drags Mors anywhere he doesn't want to go.
Nice hiss.
