Great to see a normal British bloke, giving us basic info..no gimmicks, no playing up to the camera,...no buffoonery...just basic facts, about living in a motor home....I will follow this guy, because he's just like you and me!!
I’m not sure you know just how much of a cool, down to Earth guy you are. Loving how you are so authentic and enthusiastic about sharing your MH life , experience and tips too 👍😉
Do you miss van life Bry,? not sure how long you've been in bricks now, a year maybe. Been following you and Bodhi for some 4 years i think. Take care mate

Dazzler, Just want to say you were proud of 1500 subscriber on this video. Now 20k what a achievement pal. Your personality shines through. Everyone loves you dude 👍
This brings back memories of stealth camping around the Bromley area when I also worked nights. I found half a dozen parks and used to alternate them. I had the advantage of a 4 on 4 off working pattern so I would not revisit a spot for 8 to 10 days. I am now in St Albans and you filled up with LPG at the same garage I use. I have a permanent pitch on a campsite so my nomad days are behind me for the time being.
Hello Darren, stumbled upon your channel this evening, I have to say I have really enjoyed going through numerous videos of yours, thank you, I have subbed and looking forward to many more. All the very best
Great videos fella. Just recently made redundant, now working 100 miles from home on 12 hours shifts, incl nights. Been wondering about a motorhome as I am paying a fortune in hotels so could easily offset the cost of finance! Great to see you living in one, and living well, even on night shifts. How many days do you find you can stop out for without visiting a campsite for water/hook up power? Wondering if I could do a full shift...
Oh man, it makes sooooooo much difference, the amount of heat lost through the cab is crazy! Another top tip with the sheet is put it down when your on a long drive and want to warm the cab, the air vents can heat that small space no problem but without the sheet the heat is lost into the motorhome. 👍👍😀😀
Another good vid, and a good advantage for working nights allowing you to park up during the day mate. I’m guessing you have have places to park up when not doing the shift cycle.
Great video Darren, very informative....lucky you have a night job living in you van abit easier to get away with parking up.Good information for anyone wanting to live in there van,or just find spots when you wanna just get away for awhile and don’t want to pay campsite fee’s.....keep um coming pal.Stay safe!!
Thanks Paul, yeah I do think working at night gives me a sweet little edge to parking up. I hope people can get something from this video that can help them, that would be great. 👍👍😀😀
At my work i remember a guy who broke up with his wife and he parked on the car park at work and no one cared haha he used the shower at work and got food from there lol
Wow really good video. This will help lots of people Im sure. You are a Top Man. Loved the way you showed yourself driving off in the van at the end - nice touch.
I enjoyed this video as well, I like the way you scope out the area and look for warning signs off parking, schools, house positions. Keep up the good work. I didn’t realise you were so close next time I am in St Albans I may buy you a coffee.

Also is very knowledgable and forthcoming regarding solar information he has a book on amazon which is available if you try their kindle unlimited trial.

I like your logic about urban camping. One thing though, it might look more like you're visiting friends if it is possible for your black curtains to be drawn across the back of the front seats. Just a thought thanks.

Great video. Good tips. I do have issue with the idea of parking in housing estates? That is, when you parked up (I assume in school time), how do you know if you're not going to be parked right next to a corner of a street where it might be a notorious spot for gangs of unruly youths? Might cause you some problems? Of course, not all youths are problems, but where I used to live years ago, you wouldn't want to park a motorhome there otherwise you'd probably get a brick through the window for nothing! Hi mate, thanks for the kind words and comments. To be 100% honest with you, you can't tell 100% that's not going to happen. There are things that you can look for though that would give you a better look into things, still not 100% but something more than just blindly parking. Looking at the potential parkup, look at the area as a whole, is it clean and tidy, and little, graffiti, what are peoples front gardens like, does it look more like a older community or younger, what type or cars are in the area, are more than one damaged, how are the cars parked...nice and neat or dumped, what are the bus stops like, clean and working or smashed?
