I am tired of seeing 30 bag Hermes collations and people buying 3 classic flaps in one month.
I truly believe that luxury shopping and minimalism can go hand in hand.
I think luxury was always supposed to be more minimalist- the “hauls” we were aspiring to from the movies also included clothing . + it was meant to be seen as noteworthy.
I’m going to continue to focus on unique and rare discontinued pieces like I always have
I’m definitely on a low buy this year with everything including going out.
I am not purchasing anymore basic because I have way too much T-shirt, jeans, and sandals. I will buy my favorite dress in 1 more color, that one bag I have my eye on it I can get it but I am hoping to have a really low buy year because I have more than I need.
Me too! I had a whole segment on that in this video on that specific topic and it got corrupted!!! I am so FULLY STOCKED on the types of items that I wear daily (leggings, tshirts, sweaters, midi dresses that make it look like I tried [ a personal staple] ) ANd it it's gotten to the point where my drawers and shelves and racks are FULL TO THE BRIM. I just did an aerie order for lounge/house wear and a few other replacement pieces and then I'm purging in a very big way!
Bonne Année Cousine; I also survived my New Years Covid. The 2 pair of Veja sneakers were my only splurges recently. Off to France at the end of the month. for 3 weeks. Can't wait.

Hello and great video. I want to get more into pre loved this year. I agree with your sentiments towards Chanel. I do like it on other people (especially vintage) but it’s never been for me.

Happy New Year- your hair is beautiful - yes to hair maintenance; styling, even a review of tools and products. I like when you post good deals, specific items that you know to be a great deal just in case someone is looking for an item. I like lots of bags but my personal aesthetic for a few years now is more basic that goes with everything -The Row, Bottega and Flattered type style of bags- large black or dark color and plain. I am not buying currently but I know i will be back at it sooner than later😂.
Great video! I'm with you on Chanel. I had a mini square and sold it off after a couple wears, it felt like so much effort to try to dress the exact balance between dressed up and down for that bag. Also despite being a regular in-store luxury shopper, I've never felt so judged a in Chanel. Done! thank you. Celine and SL all the way for me.

First of all Happy New Year and I wish you much success with your channel. I would love to hear about your natural hair journey I've been natural for about 15-10 yrs, but I do dye my hair so it's altered my hair in making it even more delicate than before. I would love to hear about tools: combs, Brushes especially good travel sized ones. I keep it simple and I love to keep my hair hydrated and it's not always the expensive products thatr work best on my hair, but since it's clearly has left the should stage and I got asked if I was wearing a weave recently I must be doing something right. Always up for learning. I look forward as always to you sharing in 2024.

I mostly wear extensions as protective styles and for consistency - there’s so much out there that I still use and it doesn’t have to be complicated!

Happy New Year,I only have 1 Chanel handbag, and my mom give it to me in the 1990’s or early 2000’s it’s a gold bucket bag ,with the gold Chanel ,two ball on the end of the chains . So I have never bought a Chanel bag,but to each is on.
I am taking on a low buy challenge. I would rather focus on enjoying what I have. I also realized that U need causal bags. I have 3 classic Chanel bags that I love, but don't wear them everyday. I'm allowing one purchase on a trip to Europe, for a every day bag that could be good for dinner - either Celine Romy, Prada Cleo, Fendi peekaboo or Loewe Squeeze- but only one bag. my current day bag is a black loewe puzzle which I love.

I just started the video but i think its interesting with your complaints on the conatnt influx of all these jean styles because of the current trends, I think that following trends should have that type of frustrations because trends is a capitalist idea, they want u to not value the pair of jeans u just bought just cause it isn't in "style" or "trendy" when in reality if u bought it for only personal style and fashion choices u could wear that for the next couple years if u wanted to and if not then just sell right, maybe its not ur certain style anymore but to not wear certain types of denim because of the current style landscape is just not the mindset that the most fashion forward people have, their always bringing back or wearing what they want and pulling it off.
First I realized that I was buying too many jeans, then I realize they weren't comfortable and flattering. Now I understand that I don't like them and was persuaded or manipulated into buying them because of fashion trend cycles.
I have to say I am not the biggest fan of our brand of capitalism here in the US and I think it does very little to serve us in the long run .
I don't want to buy any more jeans for several reasons. First because I've realized that I don't enjoy them and second because I realize that the trends are just making me a part of a hamster wheel that I am now exhausted of

Happy New Year Katherine and Everyone. The price increases caused me to make a vow not to buy from popular luxury brands which are priced so high with much lower quality. I do love your videos when you select a price limit and view what is available in that range. I am not a dog person, I have an elderly cat and snakes. Dogs are a big business and luxury brands cater to their owners. Looking forward to your next video.

Just left the love of my life of five years. My whole life needs a declutter 😂 I definitely shopped in a way that was quantity over quality, so now I’m paying the price and letting it all go for cheap but I’m tired of moving my handbags. I’ve moved five times in three years, and I want my peace back.
