    That down low 6 digit keypad power on looks so fun.
    If they had made it a 12 digit code and placed it somewhere even more awkward it could have doubled (maybe tripled) the fun but you can't have everything I guess...🙃

    Thanks Jimmy and Andrew! It looks like a cheaper, less capable Extreme Bull. The few I know that own the Extreme Bull never ride it anymore. On a side note, I have seen even more hyper scooter enthusiasts (50MPH+ scooters) convert to EUC. Once they learned how to ride an EUC they never went back. Already selling their Lacroix e-skates and Dualtrons. I talked to a couple of them last night on our night ride through San Francisco. They still enjoyed the high speed of the hyper scooters but 30-40MPH on an EUC is a lot more engaging and fun than a 50-60MPH huge hyper scooter. Ultra portable commute scooters (E-Twow Gt, and Inokim Light 2) still fulfill a great niche but hyper scooters just aren't worth the bulk. I think you should ride an e-motorcycle or Onyx-level bike if you already lost most of the portable aspect with the big scooters.

      I think there is a good market for folks who like to go fast, use their hands and don’t want to license/register/insure a motorcycle… for them, we have hyper scooters!

      Not all go that way.
      Me- i started out in euc's. I bought 3 overall. I got a low speed scooter after my second wheel, then a big power scooter. I just got a high powered ebike.
      Overall, the nimbleness and portability i lose going from euc's- i gain comfort, stability, and road presence.
      It's definitely a more pleasurable ride going 45 on a bike.
      It's just a pain to maintain and load! 😅😅😅😅

      The big heavy bulky power scooters arent "hyper scooters" to my mind. That name belongs to Rion et al. 30-35kg, 80+mph.
      This is why i wont go bigger than my Dualtron Victor.
      This is why i recommend the Blade X Pro (or the Victor) over the Blade GT, Vsett 10+ etc. So much more compact, easier to carry etc, and still can hit 50mph.

    I modified my laotie ti-30 scooter to have really short stem, and then I used a milk crate as a seat and ratchet strapped it down. It's amazing how fun that can be when you're down low like that

  • @604cpr

    The code system is a huge convenience con, and the unstable standing steering will put a lot of buyers off. It's probably just better to get a scooter with a seat option and adjustable stem height.

    im not into the gimmicky stuff but i gotta say, those pegs for the feet are an amazing inovation. so simple yet game changing. no more looking like a stiff office worker with those aftermarket seating positions.
    people not liking the pegs where they are, i thing its absolute perfect ergonomics and another plus is by having the feet in such a position, it gives a whole new riding experience.

    The stability issues are caused by the fact that it has negative trail. They should've done some basic research on the geometry of two-wheeled vehicles before they designed something like this.

    • @Andrew-vt4jt
      @Andrew-vt4jt 2 роки тому

      You are 100% about the negative trail.

  • @stevenboelke6661
    @stevenboelke6661 2 роки тому

    Love it, but:
    - The code system is a drag
    - Foot pegs need better positioning, perhaps on the frame, attached to the steering tube.
    - rake/trail for stability
    -13+" wheels, bigger motors.
    I do understand why they put a smaller motor in the front than the back - the weight distribution gives the real wheel way traction. If the motors were the same (650W/650W), the power application would be less efficient.

  • @dsmgx916
    @dsmgx916 2 роки тому +3

    No wonder it's so unstable, look at this messed up geometry in the front end! The contact patch is WAY ahead of the steering axis, I can't believe they thought that would work out well.

    i like the novelty aspect of it. It's funky :) The design of the smaller front to rear motor makes some sense re full power acceleration i guess.. split power so all the oompf is from the rear but with the front just helping a bit... less slip from the front maybe as a result of the lower power? It was a right hoot watching you guys try it out... definitely not for me !!! lol lol

    Alright Jimmy Chang, give it to me straight.
    I been wracking my brain for the past 3 weeks on what escooter to get in the $2000 range (give or take a couple hundo).
    Vsett10+ or Wolf Warrior X Pro?
    I go to university so I'd definitely be using this around campus, but I also wanna go off roading cuz I like fishing and I feel like a scooter would help with circling a lake while carrying gear.
    Do you feel like there will be redesigns/updates of these models in the near future?

    That passcode stuff is such a waste of money unfortunately. My cheap scooter comes with a remote and 1 of it's features is fully kill electricity supply to scooter in such way that you can't turn it on and if you try to move it backwards it will not move, the motor will not allow the scooter to move backward. I opened the deck and that stuff is a small box. Easier and a lot cheaper then the pass code stuff. I got a seat that is overall sweet, but pain to have when carrying 4 times per day via elevators, overall I like this idea for this who might wanna do long rides when it's just a lot more comfortable to relax and sit down, I might have enjoyed this 1 :D

  • @geemy9675

    cool concept. it looks like it could use more comfortable front pegs !
    Also riding in the seating position on US roads sounds like the easiest way to end up crushed under some lifted bro truck wheels.
    Also, leaning into turns is how you turn with 2 wheelers right? the faster you go the less angle you use on the steering. although steering is what allows you to control the leaning, so It sounds like steering is too sensitive/unstable?

    That's one cool looking..... Scooter..... Go-kart thingy. But it's funny as this video was to watch you guys try to ride that thing. It seems they've got to go back to the drawing board on a few things. That suspension is more likely a big part of the reason the vehicle feels so unstable. Because though that looks like suspension, it's really not doing the job you needed to do. And that thing definitely needs a steering dampener. I think the foot pegs look really cool when you're using them. I don't think that they allow for enough turning radius which could make him a bit dangerous with those 11-in wheels. The wheels need to be bigger. Big enough to where you can make a sharp turn and those pigs won't rub the floor.

    Front swingarm done wrong, very very wrong. The axle is so far ahead of the steering head axis, it's like a trolley wheel pointing the wrong way. I bet that's why it feels unstable.
