When I listen, eyes closed and relaxed the song is like a dance. You know when you hold a hot cup of tea and you feel the warmth, smell the fragrance and watch the steam dance above the cup. So beautiful.💖
1) Mr. Plant thank you for all of the wonderful music of your entire career 2) I have been to hear you in concert a while ago and you sounded great and still do ! 3) continue with your work in music as the music is well worth the effort and the effort is obvious to listeners!
This song is absolutely Gorgeous! 😍 and the production makes the sound almost a tactile experience. Like a loving caress. I agree with Matt, it is one of his all time Best and one of my Most Favourites ( can not narrow it down to only one!) This one, Song to the Siren, Carry Fire, the list goes on and on

Thank you for the years of amazingly beautiful music. So appreciative to have the freedom to enjoy when and where I feel... Can not wait to experience two of your performances this year.. So grateful....🥰
When this album first came out, everyone including myself had tears in their eyes when I first played them this song (actually, I still tear up!) Beautiful and haunting.
You, Sir, are more like the Sergeant of Love than the soldier, and it's a beautiful story back in there; I absolutely love when you sing like this, whispering the words to our hearts, directly. 💙
I absolutely love Mighty Rearranger, is one of my favorite Robert Plant works ever. Mr Plant if you have the means to do it please, please reissue this record on vinyl, i would buy it in a heartbeat.
Thank you Robert for your music. All the King’s Horses is one of my favourites. In these difficult times, it is wonderful to hear beautiful songs and your podcast is my go to chill-out. I am sure that the tour will be a triumph! All the best to you.
What Robert talks about @5:44 is fascinating, how he says the lyrics describe who he is and how he sees himself and his acceptance of it. He is a very private man so this insight into his personality is really interesting. A beautiful song, perfectly sung and with wonderful lyrics. The lp's Robert has produced with Alison Krauss are rightfully celebrated but his work in the latter part of his solo career is equally great and very much underrated. This lovely song is a fine example of that.
So glad to see everyone giving this track the love! could have sworn they already did this song long ago, as I seem to remember being introduced to it by the podcast.... but maybe my memory is faulty, or maybe they just referenced it in another podcast. Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree that this is the best thing Robert's done since Zeppelin (along with the title track of Carry Fire). It really is a perfect song in every way, and whenever I listen to it, I just end up listening to it again and again, enraptured by its understated loveliness.
I love listening to this podcast. I really connect with Robert Plant's songs All the King's Horses and A Stolen Kiss are 2 very beautiful songs that I could really relate to . . . Love Ship of Fools too. His music and his voice are quite magical

I have always loved Zeppelin & Robert. I gave up a chance to go to Nashville due to my love for Zeppelin & the tall cool one. My Grandaunt was a promoter. I had already seen Zeppelin twice by 76 when she asked me. I told her I was completely in love with Zeppelin & their lead singer. Well ,of course she knew who he was. She introduced Elvis to Col. Parker. I was so lucky to have seen Zeppelin , then Robert (front row) during "Fate of Nations" He was so good, I though.....t if this was my last concert ..I saw the best! When this song came out, it was during a change in my life where the words just really spoke to me. I have wondered if it had anything to do with castles & Humpty Dumpty. Maybe you can ask. There was a battle where the people in the fortress had believed their canon was going to protect them. It failed & they couldn't repair it much less return it to the top of the wall. I think this is my favorite solo song he has ever done. I loved "Please Read the letter" and those were awesome lyrics but this song, was one of the first songs I heard after being in a Coma for a week. I was starting over, to the beauty within. Oh thanks Sir Robert, for sharing your voice & your life with us. I don't know if you remember a place called "Mother's Blues" in Dallas but I saw ya'll there. 50 + yrs ago. I have loved you from afar. My best relationship! How I would love to sing with you. Thank you🎶🐎💙🐎🎶🐎💙🎤🌧️Bonnie Blue
I like 'Ship Of Fools'. 'I'm Gonna Crawl' gets me too. There are probably a few songs somewhere in between those 2 that need to be. It would be nice if Robert, Jimmy and JPJ could collaborate with George Fludas of the Bonhamology channel.

Some suckers're trying to paste lousy labels of values on albums. I say: Absolutely and categorically NOT. There is not the best and the worst albums of Led Zeppelin. That is the point. They are different but are on the same level of the acceptance and hearing. It is like it says e pluribus unum. All are different but makes one body. Great body. Thus, you want to tear off a piece, get the hell out then. Stick with deep purple or so.
Led Zeppelin IV was, without doubt, the greatest album ever made. From Stairway to Heaven to Black Dog, this album epitomises the greatest songwriting and instrumentation ever achieved by musicians. Yes, it is my opinion, but I feel that album. Thank you Robert Plant for your genius.

"All the King's Horses" has a hypnotizing melody and the lyrics are so delicate, all weaved with a heart-felt vocal. Just beautiful.
