Minor correction, but the IC in the Trzyniec and VC in the tech tree firefly aren't fully roman numerals. Instead of M4aX like the americans used, the british designated their Shermans I-V, with Sherman I being the M4 and the Sherman V being the M4a4. The C just means that the tank is equipped with the 17 pounder instead of the american 75 or 76mm.
I think if your playing more than one nation and if you are only into ww2 tanks the best lineups are USA-5.7 balanced versatile strong Germany-5.3 heavy Icons tiger, panther USSR-4.3 multiple T-34s and KV-1s Great Britain-4.7 support and long range Each very powerful in their own regard and have unique vibes but all are filled alongside and amongst the most powerful and most heard or popular vehicles of the war but each at respectable BRs that are fair and fair is key in WT
@@andrewryan4417 hard to say it’s my least played nation but I’d assume it’s mainly about speed scouting and relocation tactics on mobile light tanks I’d assume anywhere around 4.7-9.7 would fit that description or category
This thing bounces shots it has no business bouncing, is fast and maneuverable, and has a great gun. It really is a great 4.7 that punches above its BR.
I chose the ac I.v to grind the British tech tree. Its Derpy armour, good engine and the same 17pdr gun along with the British 5.3 lineup is very solid and satisfying to play with
The Centurion Mk2 from the previous battlepass was the best value premium for grinding the British tree. Cheap at only 2k GE (plus everything else in the pass), rank IV meaning it can grind all the way to rank V and has a great lineup with the Charioteer, Ratel 90, FV4002 and Skink/Bosvark. Using it now for that reason, and its great.
Regarding the no radiator situation. All Shermans with radial engines (aero enhines) have no radiator, as they are air cooled. Irl the cooling air was drawn in from the crew compartment, making it more pleasant in hot days, but terrible in cold days.
I would add a sixth weakness; the gun sway. The 17 pounder swings around like crazy on stopping the tank and is a huge liability, you have to plan around this more than most non-stabilised tanks.
I think you did a good enough job trying to pronounce that. If yoi need it ,,rz" is really closely pronounced like ,,sh" in English. Great vid as always
Cool history and stuff but A.C.IV is just a way better pick imo. It's more expensive and a higher br but it's a lot more unique, has actual reverse (which is rare for britan around this br), has good gun depression, armor which actually bounces stuff and it has a nice lineup with the Challenger. Lack of gun depressino combined with tall profile is the biggest issue in Firefly imo. I would say it's mid tier at best, far from being one of the best picks.
@@thefrenchcommander5770 Yup. And it seems to be super lucky. All the Panthers, Tigers and even Tiger IIs that somehow failed to kill me, this can't be just because the armor is super trolly.
I think the Sherman VC is much better relative to BR. That sabot is 100% worth the 0.3 increase. The APDS is even better for sniping, and will pen anything
APDS is very annoying to use since the nerf though. Even if you know where to aim it's just unreliable. Even on tanks that have APDS i paradoxically prefer to use AP unless i meet something i can't pen with it, which just doesn't happen at all
It's a tank that relies on it's gun, but everything else is subpar as a result. Unstable AF gun, no gun depression, slower acceleration than american shermans and solid shot. I love it and used it to grind most of rank III and IV but it really is at a disadvantage when compared to american shermans in everything except sniping capabilities because of rank III american optics being shit.
Unfortunately, you cannot. At least not yet. You probably won't be able to get the Sturmtiger, but you may be able to get the Maus when War Thunder's anniversary comes around late October or early November.
Every vehicle this dude recommends for the most part. Secondly, you forgot to mention the abysmal gun depression this vehicle has which is -5 and hurts this vehicle being so tall. IMO, it's mediocre overall. I bought it like 2 years ago and barely play it. Get the 5.3 AC IV Sentinel way better for UK and same tier.

One of the Sherman's of all time
How many are there?
@@Shacow32 A LOT.. every nation has a sherman now lol
@@frostedbutts4340 so they’re like the golden retrievers of tanks huh
Don’t forget, it’s British
@ShacowStorm there is a Yes amount of Sherman's in Wt

I will buy it as well. Next sale :)
The Centurion Mk2 from the last battlepass was my choice. Cheaper and you get the other stuff from the pass.

Yes it is a very fun vehicle with an amazing lineup at 4.7.
Bought this today during the anniversary sale and I don’t regret it :) very nice tank. I got a 9 kill game with it :)
One of my favorite vehicles. One of my first premiums and still my go to for when higher BRs make me sad
One of the best 4.7 tanks in the game.

That tank was one of the first prems I’ve ever bought and I don’t regret it at all
Some of tbe best matches I have ever played is with this tank.
The video i was looking for. Oddbawz rated it a bit negatively last time, but i think at the next sale i will buy it + the AC IV at 5.3

The ac.iv is probably the most underrated rank 3 premium

APDS does less post pen damage and is more likely to bounce even with the higher pen because Gaijin fucked up APDS.
Please do a review the Cromwell doesn’t matter which variant
The Italian Sherman with apds : Am I a joke to you?
Its a 1 c the base vehicles is a sherman 1 (m4) and the c designates the firefly modification
Just bought this the other day after getting the 50% off voucher.
Sherman’s everyone needs a Sherman
Trzyniec actually is Polish for Třinec, a city in the Czech Republic which was part of the territory annexed by Poland in 1938.
hello from Trzyniec (Třinec) Czechia
apcbc would be liked more if gaijin fixed solid shot and nerfed aphe so its more realistic
Tankenstein I have question, What's the name of the music you have playing in the background of all of these reviews?
For a 4.7 line up, it is good! Buuut i rather the avenger.
But at 5.3 i think its out classed by the AC Iv. Or even challenger.
Good morning Friends
Good morning
good evening
Its probably the best or one of the best tanks for under 3000 GE.
You killed me I was the kv85
Survivability of the jumbo got nerfed. It gets easily pened by tiger 1 and panthers maybe even some panzers. Really sad. 😭
thx tankenschtine
I like using it during the realistic game mode where it faces mainly Germans
It's good enough to easily murder Tiger I's.
Is something different in this battle pass season? I swear I’m having a hell of a time finishing the hard task every day
I'd say go for the AC IV. It's better in almost every way and even has a decent reverse gear
Plus the AC IV is a unique vehicle. The British TT Firefly is exactly the same and Italy also has one in its TT.
Is this the same vehicle as the Italian firefly they look similar
One of my favorite tanks. Formidable, but far away from the best at its BR
I dunno, it's an amazing tank for 4.7.

When you read Trzyniec r is silent rz you read as z :)
it does not translate to scorpion, scorpion in the name of the regiment it served in
TRZYNIEC LIKE TSHYNIEC cmon tankenstein :(
Trzyniec does not translate to scorpion, it's small city. Scorpion in polish is skorpion.
Scoorpion is a name of regiment it served in.
