- When I found the poor kittens, they were both very sick and were hissing at me because they didn't want me to help them. I started treating them but a few weeks ago one of the kittens gave up. The poor kitten doesn't stop crying after losing his brother and thinks about the days playing with him.

What we’re they sick with? Do you know the cause of older brother death? Or why he isn’t growing? I’m sorry the older one didn’t make it, must be very hard on the younger brother as he feels all alone now. First his mom didn’t want him & then his brother became an Angel. Poor baby!
The wet food is much better for their overall health, except the teeth. Dry food helps clean the teeth, maybe mix a little dry food into the wet food? Cats don’t naturally drink water, in the wild they get the majority of their liquids from their prey that they eat.

A tip I learned from the Flatbush Cat rescue channel is that older kittens associate the hand that grabs them with danger (if a trap is not used). After that, hands are threatening to them. Try holding the kitten on your lap and feeding them straight from your hands (instead of a dish) to help them overcome the fear of your hands.

Kittens need to be held and talked to and loved. Being cuddled and petted GENTLY could have made the difference.
Poor little kitten I was also upset when the other kitten passed away. But at least he has a lot of friends there. And if you can try to give him extra cuddles and love. I know they all like wet cat food but it must only take a few minutes to clean up after them. They worth it. thank you Sedat.🤗🥰😘😊....
I always thought so too :-) I've had a kitten for two weeks, for which I bought the best (all) brands of kitten food from our pet shop. But she mostly leaves that to me - and prefers to wait until I start eating to see if it tastes better.
Poor kitten. First mom left you, but you still had your brother, but now your brother has been adopted by God. You will be okay. Your brother is watching over you! Have good life with your friends and with Daddy Sedat and hopefully you will be adopted by good family who will bring you even more happiness! Your brother is going to want to hear good story of your life many years from now when you meet again!

Cats have souls, they experience grief when a sibling or even just a cat they play with a lot dies. Although my channel is not about this, I worked as a shelter employee for 8 years, I've seen animals come and go and seen their behavior for a long time. Cats this age need love and care and need several friend-cats to play with and a steady mental diet of safety and stability. It's tremendous of you to build those shelters, and essential in places it gets way to cold (or hot) in. I consider myself a friend of all cats, (and dogs too), and I want to say thank you and god bless you, because I believe that is what the cats you saved the lives of would say.

Sedat, one way to orally medicate them - wrap them in a towel or similar. It's called "burrito" wrap. This is also an excellent way to help frightened kittens feel more secure. 🐈
Yes … I see it working very well on other UA-cam videos. The wrapping of holding a kitten to safely for humans too. I’ve suggested it as well, perhaps the language barrier hinders our suggestion. The burrito 🌯 is a fun way of describing it. 👍☺️. He’s a marvellous man, a great asset to animal welfare in his country.
@@lilliankeane5731 Yes, I think language is a barrier sometimes, Lillian, but I think Sedat uses a translation app because he answers people who write in various languages like Russian, Italian, French. He possibly hasn't read all the comments yet. Have you come across the Flatbush Cats channel at all? They're a TNR and adoption outfit in Brooklyn, New York. Absolutely amazing stories with detailed narration. I've learnt so much from them. I follow 4 Turkish channels, one Moroccan and Flatbush Cats now, all different and all a blessing to our precious animals ♥️🤗
It sounds strange but actually "scruffing" a frighten/feral kitten can help calm them, as that's what Mom would do.
Rescuing small feral kittens, I actually employ it, it does save on scratches and bites as well, even on larger kittens, that's how I got my Bonnie Blue, although she got a few licks in on me, she was about 12 weeks and very frightened. Soon as I got her home I quarentined her in spare room, and brought her food and water and pretty much sat in there with a book and ignored her, she actually started coming to me within a couple days wanting affection.

I am so sad that the one kitten didn't make it. I'm sorry for your and his brother's loss. You do your best, Sedat. There is a medication called Mirataz (Mirtazapine) that can help increase the appetite of sick cats. Not sure if you can get it there.

I have a kitten that hasn't grown up either, but she's 5 years old and looks like a kitten. She is my princess. I felt like holding this baby in my arms and holding him for me, my heart hurts with this little cry 😭
The big Tabby kitten who did not make it, waits for his brother at the "Rainbow Bridge".They will play together again.
The Karma you generate taking care of these fur babies is tremendous. The universe is a better place for it.

I'm so sorry that the kitten's brother did not survive, you did all you could for him. but it's lovely to see how the tabby kitten has gained confidence and now climbs your leg to get attention! What he should have done if he had any real care was get them proper veterinary treatment, medicating them himself when he has no idea of what may be wrong with them is capable of doing more harm than good.
