Jonna, I can not thank you enough. My sister just passed away like a month ago kind of unexpectedly and she was a master crocheter and I only dabbled in crochet because to be honest I've always been very intimidated by anything harder that your usual granny square, anyway I have inherited about 120 different crochet needles 300 crochet books and 130 different skeins of wool and yarn and threads. and I saw your video which was part 1 beautiful shells blanket on Facebook and I took a chance and followed along and now we are on part 2 and I'm amazed that I could do this and it is all because of you and your great instructions and you also go at just the right pase to follow. I immediately subscribed to your page. You are truly an artist and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
MaryAnn, I am so very sorry about the loss of your sister. I want to thank you for taking the time to write to me and to tell me your story. It means so much to me. I'm so excited to have you part of my crochet journey on UA-cam, it is just beginning. Your words inspire me to continue. Thank you with all my heart. ❤️Jonna
I was going to pass this pattern over because it looked to complicated and time consuming until I watched your videos. You made me not only a believer but a doer. I am making this for our first great grandchild. My wife thinks that I am over stepping myself but your video took the fear out of trying it. So far its a breeze. Thanks for easy to follow and understand videos.
Congratulations on your first grandchild! 🌸 Your blanket will be so beautiful. And it does work up fast. I'm so happy you enjoyed my video. Thank you so much for taking the time to write and for watching. 🌸🌸🌸
Just wanted to say thank you for showing how easy this stitch was. Am working on a blanket now......my colors are black and my shells are a dusty rose. My other is so jealous ........Again thank you
I saw the picture of the shells blanket and had not a clue how to make it because I'm new to crochet. Then I found your UA-cam tutorial and I did it!! I'm so happy. Thanks so much.

Thank You so much for this tutorial. I have 4 new babies added to the family this year & another one on the way, so you have some idea how grateful I am. I'm a GreatGrandmother, never in my life have I seen so much creativity in crochet, until I was given a laptop computer.

I downloaded the pattern .pdf but following your video is so simple! Just sat in front of my computer and had 6 rounds done before I knew it! Not sure I'm thrilled with my colour choices, but the pattern is lovely! Thank you!

Super helpful video! I couldn't understand the written instructions but now know what to do. Am going to make one for my nan for her birthday. Thanks so much!!
Wow, thank you so VERY much! I have been struggling for two days with how this pattern was written, and by watching you and doing screen captures, I FINALLY get it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am fairly new to crochet, and am a very literal person. The way the instructions were worded was not as helpful as you showing us.

+sue girard I'm so happy you enjoyed my video! I like watching videos like that too so I'm happy I can create that feeling here. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸
Thank GOODNESS for this and Part 1. FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I could not follow the written pattern and this set of videos (as well as a one-on-one session with my local yarn goddess) has helped IMMENSELY. I'm not quite as frustrated now and may be able to finish what I started. THANK YOU!
Great tutorial Jonna. I'm going to start mine this weekend in green and cream to get a 1930's look. Thank you for helping me with such clear instructions!!
Love this pattern! I think you should call it the Lacy Shell Blanket. I'm doing it but I only change colors every other round, on the odd rounds. This sort of hides the foundation round a bit. But it's very nice your way, too. By the way, I love these type of blankets for lapghans when I'm sitting at my desk. I use them all winter long. They're awesome!
Thank you for your easy-to-understand videos! I'm having a hard time with written patterns in UK or US terms and I am so happy that I've found your videos! This blanket is now on my to-do-list :-)
I saw this tonight on facebook, and had to get my hook out right now!! This is a lovely blanket, but since we are only less then 40 miles apart.. lol.. Took notice when you said logging trucks.. Which I also curse daily... Hello from Haynesville, and thank you so much for this pattern!!!
+Val Kiernan I was reading your comment and one went by..... They are so loud and drive too fast! I'm so happy you liked my video! This blanket is really fun. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment🌸🌸🌸🌸

I'm on my third cone of variegated green with one round of white every 6th round. It is very beautify and hope to make a king size. I know I will use this pattern again because it is so beautiful.
I'm not new to crochet, but this pattern was so hard for me to understand! Thank you for making such a lovely video with nice clear instructions! I finally got the hang of it, thanks to your excellent tutorial. :)

I love this blanket...... I'm going to have to make me one for my bed...... I'm going to make it the color as you did..... blue is my favorite color...... I love watching your videos...... thank you so much...... Georgina Peel
I have been crocheting for over 36+ years... I started when I was approx 5 years old, but no older than 6 (due to notes I have). I do NOT consider myself an 'expert' crocheter and nor should ANYONE do so! There is always something to learn, somewhere. Including myself! VERY WELL DONE video and explanation - EXCEPT for a newbie to crocheting or 'new' - since there is a color change. Otherwise.... *applaud* very well done!!! I was looking for this 'old time exact pattern', & I ty for it ( I have this same OLD pattern somewhere... I have too many files on my pc and all over, so then I realized, WOW.... why did I download so much, bookmark so much and PIN so much!! I have so many patterns, I can't find anything now :D ) (Notes to self: @ 5:05 - ending V stitch row (she refers to it as 'frame work'), @ 5:08 BEG new SHELL row, ------- completing shell round - AND joining to previous round @8:47 shell round complete ------- @ 9:00 (@9;00 great info if you are a newbie to crochet!) BEG new V stitch round
I just found this beauty on pinterest. Almost finished with my blanket I'm working, ans this is my next. Soooooooooooooo pretty. Cannot wait to start. Bookmarking it so I can follow you as we will be working together.
Have you thought about omitting cutting the yarn and instead just dropping after a row and then picking it back up when using two colors it's very easy and very few tails to weave in. Thanks for the tutorial.
This is a beautiful pattern! I love it so much and the colors you chose 🤩 wow, are so awesome! I was wondering if somehow you can end this as a square?! Please let me know and thank you so much for sharing your wonder creation 💙💙

I have so many patterns, I can't find anything now :D )
(Notes to self: @ 5:05 - ending V stitch row (she refers to it as 'frame work'), @ 5:08 BEG new SHELL row, ------- completing shell round - AND joining to previous round @8:47 shell round complete ------- @ 9:00 (@9;00 great info if you are a newbie to crochet!) BEG new V stitch round

Wonderful! It’s what I’m hoping to do with all of my tutorials. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Have you thought about omitting cutting the yarn and instead just dropping after a row and then picking it back up when using two colors it's very easy and very few tails to weave in. Thanks for the tutorial.
This is a brilliant idea!!! Thank you. I will keep this idea for future videos. Thank you for watching my video and commenting! 🌸🌸😍
I was thinking that... much like a graphgan...
