Which do I like.. well they gave me goosey bumps the music an colors are great ocean, teal, pink and white are speaking to me but love them all. We are not machines we e use our hands an craft. Handmade items are never perfect but being handmade is the value for me. So that is what I think.. Great Job my Dear.... As always great video... Thank You...💙💜💙

@@SharonLindleyVividDaysArt just received my first ever batch of resin the other day. My daughter is going to paint furniture as a hobby and it would be nice to finish the tops of small tables and such with it. She dnk yet that she's going to be a resin artist...lol
They are all very pretty colours, difficult to choose, probably have to say the turquoise and the green. I didn't think dominoes were still played??. I had a set as a child, long long time ago 😂. I used to discard stuff I made it it wasn't perfect and then beat myself up over not being able to make perfection. You are absolutely right with what you say and a few tiny imperfections add to the item's uniqueness😀.
Ditto on the colour selections. They are so still played and Retro is back especially as you can bling em up lol. We are so self critical and perfection is only achieved in mass productions. Other people see the beauty in our creations wish we could open our eyes to it ourselves sometimes.

I like all the purple dominoes.The red and yellow transparent dominoes are great - if you want your opponent to see what dominoes you have. The same with the blue ones you made here. It would only take playing a few times to know what the dominoes are by the different gold foil patterns. It looks like there's a crease defect in the mold that made the purple/red one/blank domino.

My first time seeing your work and I’m so happy I found you I’ve wanted to do dominoes for ages and now I’m going to order the moulds and get started I’m very new to this so any advice on best epoxy and colours you go back to all the time the best place to buy from if you don’t mind me asking I’m going to be looking now for more of your videos and what you make the dominoes are stunning xxxxxxx

How do you clean the resin out of the plastic cup? Your pieces are beautiful, thank you for sharing!
You can either let it dry and peel it out or wipe it with a paper towel when it wet the an alcohol wipe

You only need to sand if you have imperfections or if you are adding layers and its been more then a few days since the last coat. Hope that helps, thank you also

No I haven't, some people my choose to but you have to be mindful of keeping your cost down and every time to add another coat of something you risk problems and dust IMO. It will come down to a personal choice. Thanks for watching and the question

If ever you in doubt measure with water to see the volume you need to mix. Make sure they are full dry before adding your Resin

These are wonderful, but I have a question. I haven’t seen people playing with dominos for years, and suddenly all the resin artist are making them. Is there some new game I don’t know about? Your boxes are so clever, and professional looking.
I think board games have been making a surge back since lockdown, Tis all and at Christmas it will be very retro abs trendy. I will let you know after Christmas if I was right or if I am still stuck with them lol. Thanks for watching glad your enjoyed.

They tools use from DOT art, they sell them on amazon as a kit with different sizes
How come the fronts didn't come out of the mold very shiny? The backs were shiny.

I have made two sets but for some reason they come out sticky and I measure the epoxy good idk what's going on
Are you adding too much pigment? Too much Alcohol? What type of Resin so you use?
How many Oz of resin you used?
About 260ml for the set. I did 300ml and it had left overs for a few small moulds.

So...just curious. What are these used for? I know you can't play Dominos or Domino games cause you can see through them... so what are they used for? Even the ones that aren't see through are basically marked. As in, the variable designs.. I could easily remember the pattern on a specific Domino...
These are for fun or dominoes but my videos it to give other ideas. If you want to play for real as you say you would create is a way that plain on the back. I have used these and had fun with them as you do with the family or friends for a quick game. Each to there own but i love the concept
The backside of the Domino should be blacked out you're basically marking the pieces
