Another CZ beauty. Thanks for the review. I have a 600 LUX in 30.06 that I have yet to take to the range. You have motivated me to get out tomorrow. Thanks again.
Greetings from Australia...thanks for your work on these vids - much appreciated. I'm a bit of a heavy barrel, chassis man myself BUT... that is one smokin' hot good looking rifle! And some of those groups...WOW! I do have a 600 ERGO in .308 which I'm very happy with...looking to swap out the barrel for one from the RANGE but not a big deal. Always looking forward to your vids...cheers.
Currently looking for a new bolt action in 308 and this one is in serious consideration rn. Super happy with my CZ 457 so I assume I'd feel quite at home with another CZ.
I wish this rifle had a 20 inch barrel , i would probably have ordered one then . I ended up getting a T3x super varmint which hopefully i will be happy with .
The CZ 600 LUX is pretty much the same rifle just with a 20” barrel. 1 in 10 twist 4 groove. I’ve got one in 308 and it’s a tack driver. The tikka is also an amazing rifle though. My mate has one and apart from the wooden aesthetic of the CZ which really is classy, they are both brilliant.
do you know if the barrels can be interchanged between 223 and 308? or maybe 6.5 creed and 223? i want a center-fire for both target and hunting but in my country we have a very limited number of guns we can own (6+2 pistols), being able to swap barrels would help me doge this limitation and have something usable for target shooting and deer/hog hunting
What is the twist rate on the 600 American .223 that was tested? 1:9? That's probably why it shoots the lighter bullets more accurately. Both 69gr & 73gr groups opened up compared to all the lighter loads that were touching or in the same hole. For hunting I prefer 1 in 8 or 7 rate to use the heavier/longer 75gr bullets on whitetail deer. With a 20" barrel and 1:9 it would not be as accurate with anything over 62gr. The longer 24" barrel in the test gun helped the groups with longer bullets, but you can still clearly see the difference with the lighter ones which performed better. If their .223 barrels had a rate of 1:8 it would be perfect.
I have the lux in 308. It is exactly the same action as this, has a 20” barrel 1 in 10 twist. Open sights that are really great even out to 300m for pretty good groups. M15x1 thread for a suppressor or brake. It’s extremely well balanced, feels great to hold with the fish scale effect of the stock. Can’t say enough great things about it. 10/10. I had actually gone in the shop to buy the alpha. When I felt the lux compared to the alpha I happily shelved up the difference to buy the lux. It’s a no brainer.
@@bobbycollins684 you cant really judge acoustics from a video , mic placements and directions have a vast effect and the moderator is not on test anyway

Great review, thank you. Is the trigger guard material metal or synthetic? Is there any other polymer/synthetic on the rifle beside the magazine?
Another cracking review love the rifle and love the accuracy you have achieved will very seriously consider this
I'm really impressed by how ammo agnostic it seems to be!
Thanks for sharing. Your CZ is a great shooter and good looking too.
Nice review as always . Looks like a great setup . Thanks from Australia.

Great video as usual. Nice touch that trigger setup. Just needs a small hole drilled in the trigger guard and use the Allen key long ways on .

You won't be disappointed with the tikka mate awesome rifle

Finally a very good review on 600 American. Good job, very nice video. But why is that wood Stock so dark ???
Hello, the surface of the gun and its parts are nitrided with cz 600, which is wear-resistant and rust-free.
Cracking review Chris nice rifle with good accuracy and functionality like the rifle would be good if came in 24" 22-250. Cheers mate 👍👍
Nice rifle with very good accuracy & a nice trigger. But i can not stand that zip zip bolt sound, my only criticism.

Would it be possible for you to get hold of and review the Lux version? I would greatly appreciate it...
