Hank is the best
You ain't lying about that one.
Barry finna hit a black flash
Where is demon slayer
He is like super awesome guy
Demon Slayer came out with a new season just to let y'all know😀
NoHo Hank and Barry on the rooftop is one of the best moments in the show. Even some of it was improvised.
The bloopers for that scene are SSS-tier.
The stfu from hank always has me dead😂
As hilarious as the whole "king of suck-balls mountain" routine is... I feel like it takes focus away from the arguably more brilliant line: "So, what do you want me to do? Go to John Wick assassin hotel with 'Help Wanted' sign?!" lol
"King of suck-balls mountain" is one of my favorite lines cuz it was ad-libbed. The set-up was SUPPOSED to be "my guys are bullshit", so he would have said "King of bullshit mountain" but instead he said "my guys suck balls" so the dude just ran with it. Made Bill Hader and everyone else die of laughter
= Classic
The scene with Hank trying to snipe Barry/"50/50 with Cristobal" is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen. No matter how many times I see it "king of suck balls mountain" always takes me out
Barry (Bill hader) turning around on the roof was actually him breaking character trying to hold in his laugh during that scene 🤣
Barry is Mob, Fuches is Reigen - the fucked up version
THANK YOU. I was trying to find someone else that thought the same.
Fuches is a piece of shit but he has gotten away with the hitman gig for many years and even made a protocol to give Barry an alibi on S1. He's a huge loser but he has some sort of talent. Even at the start of S2 when his new hitman sucks balls the main reason why the heist fails is because the one that hired Fuches gave them the wrong combination. It wasn't totally Fuches fault.
Though if I have to be fair Gene is literally Reigen. Specially the parts when he refuses to refund people.
Barry is also overpowered af like Mob and if push comes to shove he's always the one that comes on top of direct confrontations.
Roof scene with Hank feels exactly like a Grand Theft Auto cutscene, which is a good thing, a very good thing.
Also the face of realization that it's her ex gives me chills.
This episode has stuck with me ever since it aired. The sniping scene, "king of suckballs mountain", and then the utterly useless interpreter are gold.
Thought this was a reupload with the thumbnail from the previous episode.
same lfmaoooo
stg i had to double check
sally to 'sam' played by barry "I know who you really are, you pretend to be this nice guy, but deep down, you're rotten and you like it, and that's why you'll never change, and that's why I'm going to leave you"
unknowingly, sally's speech to Sam hits on all of Barry's fears about himself.
I love the way the acting class mirrors their real lives.
i like the dynamic where, if barry was honest and tapped into his killer rage, he would be able to portray someone like sam a lot more effectively...but he wouldn't be acting. but when barry tries to better himself (or deny his true nature, depending on how you view Barry), he isn't able to act as well.
ironically, barry's best acting happens outside the class, and people think that's when he's being honest.
in the show, they talk about how good acting requires drawing from an honest place, so barry can't act in the class.
The cutting of all noise besides the sound of the Korengal wind blowing when Barry realizes who Sam is perfectly caps off this episode with insane tension
My aunt was abused by her first husband, and her getaway was similar: My father drove a U-Haul down to Florida and they waited until he was gone to throw her stuff in and leave.
This channel's subs are a trip. They go into the comments section of unrelated videos, spouting titles of shows and movies, demanding reactions like children throwing fits when they want ice cream. This is not how human beings are supposed to interact.
Glad to see yall enjoy barry so much haha. Definitely one of my favorite shows. Hope you guys continue watching!
I just want to be very clear that a LOT of the "acting techniques" that they use in Cousineau's class would be completely unprofessional and unethical from the perspective of a professional actor. That's part of the joke around him being a total hack and a grifter. They only perform scenes from Hollywood movies (and a little Shakespeare) and he charges them an arm and a leg for really basic and often incorrect advice. It's a running theme that you can even see in the title of his book - which is meant to be a kind of "keep it simple, stupid" back to basics manual, but is actually just filled with an array of braggadocious anecdotes.
The "I'm just trying to help you" stuff is especially unprofessional. You might think about your own life to access certain emotions, but plenty of actors don't need to do that either. Plenty of actors can cry on command as a physical reflex. You NEVER need to insult (or physically assault) the actual actor, the real person, just to get them to perform anger. In fact a lot of those stories you hear about directors "surprising" actors to get a "real" reaction is basically them admitting that they don't care if the person can act or if they traumatize them, they are just treating them as cattle to get the shot they want. But that's not what professionals are supposed to do - and arguably the more you try and trick the actor to get their reaction and less of their performance, the less you are letting them actually do their job, which is to ACT. Acting is a skill, like any other, and it can be trained, and you don't need to be "method" or be constantly digging up old trauma or playing tricks on your colleagues to be a good actor.
Sally talks about having done tons of stage combat, but they never familiarize Barry with even the basics, or rehearse the blocking of the choke in anything more than a passing, impatient manner. When I had to do a stage slap in high school, we rehearsed it DOZENS of times to get it right (to make it look and good and trick the audience with sound but not actually hit the person), and I still accidentally hit my scene partner during one of the tech rehearsals (I apologized but I felt awful). With adults and a lot of money on the line and potential HR issues the standards are a lot stricter.
EXACTLY. Sometimes actual abuse is romanticized as "what it had to be done" to get the final product to be perfect, but it's still abuse and it would rightfully earn you a lawsuit (think what Kubrick did to Shelley Duvall). It's one of many examples of glorification of unhealthy behavior in arts, be it acting, music, et cetera.
Thanks for explaining this, because I thought I was out of the loop thinking all of these lessons and methods were completely unprofessional and abusive 😓
Louchess and Barry go from love to hating each other so much 😭
You still have Episode 2's thumbnail on this video. Just letting you know!
That Hank scene on the roof is hilarious haha
There we go, was just watching another video and as I finished it this one perfectly got released
lol took me a sec to realize why Alita was the thumbnail for Fallout.
Y'all gotta watch Atlanta.
The way this show balances black comedy, drama, suspense, and horror is so well done. Y'all haven't gotten to the nitty-gritty yet.
Sally's story is so good this season. And the next episode is maybe my favorite of the series.
Hank is one of my favorite parts of this show.
It wasn't this episode, but I think the last. I'm not sure if you noticed, but Cristobal was giving a presentation that has a slide that said "wavy lines still get you high".
the thumbnail is for episode 2
Noho Hank needs his own show
Can’t wait til ep 5 😂
barry goat
dungon meshi would be epic

NoHo Hank is a psycho, a very likable psycho.

NoHo Hank is goated :D
Fun fact: Bill turns away from the camera at “king of suck balls mountain” bc he couldn’t stop laughing
Loach has been a goat character since day one
Is there somebody i can see the shows they’re planning to watch? Or do they just announce them on videos?
Barry really yelled 'corpsman' after that dude got shot? Like he didn't even know the bro's name?

William Wallace 100% gave a speech. It wasn’t *that* speech, it was a lot longer and he spent a lot of time naming and praising the various clans who stood with him. Not a good fit for a movie, really.
Where is demon slayer
So y’all just going to ignore demon slayer this season?? ☹️
Chill wtf the episodes been out barely 2 days
