This video would have really helped me when I bought my '97 12-valve years ago, when it's wheels were completely pointing straight the steering wheel itself was rotated almost 180 degrees lol. Interesting driving it home like that.
Thanks for sharing! I have the synergy kit on my 2nd gen and was scared to loosen that pinch nut because i didnt know if that was the proper way to adjust the drag link :)
I adjusted mine because my steering was off. Then after aligning steering wheel with tires I went for a test drive but now steering wheel is off to the other side now but truck drives straight. I do have stock drag link but truck has a 4in bds lift kit. Just trying to see what else can I do
Just got done a few hours ago installing a synergy drag link that I bought from you folks for my 2016 ram 3500 4x4. Gonna do this tomorrow, had a bastard of a time getting the OEM drag link pitman arm ball joint out.
I recently installed a 4in lift and I have noticed this happened to my steering wheel, slightly to the left. Alignment is fine. I have a Ram 1500, is the process the same? I notice most videos on UA-cam are for 2500 or 3500?

What do you torque the stock pinch bolt to?
Very informative. Would like to see more on the synergy steering as I am having contact issues with mu synergy steering.
Can this be done to my 2500? Do you have the kit to purchase it ? Or is it using oem parts
This is the same process with factory linkage! Just lengthen or shorten the drag link to center the wheel.
