The couple in the bed laughing and carrying on about mundane things is wholesome and nice. They enjoy each other and have a laugh. Its nice to see that.
The couple (where she was waiting for Donna) are rather lovely - even if it's only acting, it's really nice to have the idea of a couple who are really nice to, and really happy with, each other.

In Australia we call it a Roo Bar (as in kangaroo) and yes the posh family are amazing. I also love the redhead refuge skits (being a ginger myself) and ?Lauren the chav
Each of her ripple are stand-alone right down to accents, movements. She has such an expressive face. She’s been my favorite forever. Granny and Bernice make me laugh so hard.
Did anyone notice how Elaine met a real life man in Buck but won’t be ringing him because of Jeremiah. She’s seeking love, but doesn’t really want it - she pushes it away and chooses someone unavailable (literally). Irony!
Brilliant. Always like Nan the best. I haven't seen these early episodes before but it was right decision to cull the American girl and shrieking lady from future series.

It's weird isn't it. The piece that starts around 16.27 is typical of the conversations I hear daily on the buses and trains - the word 'like' is used at least once in every utterance however short. It's actually comical to listen to after a bit.
As someone who says like, I personally use it as a short break to think while I'm talking, like saying um. While it's not voluntary while I'm saying it, I can switch it off when I want to. I just don't. When I am on stage or in interviews, I obviously do.
@@Mike.Nov51 you do have a point, my apologies, its just the thing about "feeble minded" that seemed a bit unfair. I'm from Luton and there is a lot of unnecessary thoughts about how people talk. I think I am fairly well educated with 11 gcses, 3 a levels and a level 2 in Latin but just because I drop my "t"s people think I'm "uneducated" and "feeble minded"
What's the accent the of the brown haired lady in bed with the guy, what kind of people she is imitating. I am French so don't have all the references :)
Just found this show and I love it but I really have a hard time with Cockney. No matter how much of it I hear I just can't get alot of it and I'm sure it's funny no doubt.
After watching heaps of episodes I'm coming to realise the laughing couple have the healthiest relationship I've ever seen.
Healthy as in salad and vegies, or healthy as in going to beat the 7 year itch?
@@BrenMurphy1 must be both, is so healthy it has to be both (as in beating a 70 year itch by eating veggies)

Yes…..I’ve always thought that 💜💚💙 so sweet. Soul mates
They are so devoted .
Catherine Tate is honestly an incredible actress. She has such versatility.
Like if Gary Oldman was funny
Such a refreshing change from the boring crap I’ve been watching on repeat all lockdown. Love you Catherine 🤘🏻💛
Reminds me of Kid Rock if he were a little taller and from the old country and had some comedic material.
Yes, she is able to be completely unfunny and predictable across hundreds of different sketches.
I love the two rich kids. "Tell all, mummy"; "Cometh the hour, cometh the man"! Brilliant😁😆😅🤣
2023 and I still comeback for the laughs! Brilliant! Thanks from the USA!
the child actors in the posh skit are a great addition to the show-love it! Catherine is amazing...
The child actors in the posh skit were incredible.
Is it just me or does the handsome young man in the second 'family' sketch look a bit like a relative of Harry Enfield?
simply marvelous, to rival olivier, as a child, beyond words darling. oh I feel faint with admiration. they were Ok spose.
Me in the lockdown when I ran out of garlic. I am truly ashamed of myself!
That's not acting, stage school kids all talk like that! 😂😂
they're amazing because they really get the jokes, they're not just kids in a skit they add so much with their own comedic timing and delivery
The couple in the bed laughing and carrying on about mundane things is wholesome and nice. They enjoy each other and have a laugh. Its nice to see that.
