- Termoli is located in the province of Campobasso, in the Molise region of Italy. Historically a fishing port, but following world war II it became a popular beach and vacation destination. Termoli is one of those beloved local towns that a couple or a family might decide to visit on the fly because they want to eat out and are in the mood for seafood.

Nice video. I was in Termoli for a week in June for my daughter’s wedding. We all the places in your video including the tiny alley. What a beautiful town; the seafood was delicious !

Interesting, for me! In WW2 my dad, in the British Intelligence Corps, handed over 20,000 gold sovereigns to the Mafia who had ferried 3 escaping British officers 210 miles down the coast overnight in pouring rain by fishing-boat. The senior officer was General O'Connor. That gold must have been worth incalculable millions in war-torn Italy in December 1943.! (Bet you didn't know all that - partly because the whole thing was kept secret..).
Are houses reasonably priced there?
They''re a bit pricey as compared to outside the city center but very affordable as compared to English-speaking countries. You can look at listings in Termoli or anywhere in Italy on immobile dot it or casa dot it.
