I am most impressed with the sponsor of today's episode working with local farmers NOT big corporations. I would love to try that Shio Kouji marinade !!
If I could choose any people as my besties in Japan.... it would be the both of you! I just adore you two. You guys are just amazing and I can always feel the love you send all of us through your videos.
Your little patio area looks lovely!! Such a great view of Tokyo too. I bet you guys are glad the rainy season is finally done with so you can enjoy it more.
I love seeing the glimpses of your everyday life!! The plants on the balcony looks so good, the curtain turned out great and Justin is ridiculously adorable! The food looked yummy as well 🙂 if my day started with someone surprising me with a pizza sandwich I would be a very happy woman!
I love the new filming editing style you guys have taken on!! It makes me so happy.. youtube has not been showing me any of your videos for almost a month.. :(
Food looks amazing!!! Can't wait for my trip to Japan.....I'm saving and for my 40th birthday I am going to Japan I've wanted to go to Japan since I was in 4th grade when I met a Japanese girl "Takako" She came to the states with her parents they had to come here for their job...and we became so close I was fascinated with her culture and her mom would pack me a snack to try in her lunch ❤ one of my favorite memories of my childhood....thank you for that 😊
I love the whole day delivery videos you make! ^^ This subscription box seems super interesting. I have subscribed to a snack box before and a noodle box. Noodle one I loved more because I could make all these dishes with the noodles. Seems like I could like this kokoro crate. It does seem pricier than the boxes I have been subscribed to before, but its totally understandable as you get many things to use over a longer course of time. Never heard about shiokoji before. Totally want to try it and marinate some fish or chicken with it. Seems yummy.
I love your porch/balcony. It's like a little zen area to relax, and look over the city. I hope one day to retire, and live in a place that serene. p.s. love Sodachi's (spelling?) hat! :D
Seeing you throughout the day is so pleasant. The food looks delicious, and I love the way you both take your time and savor it. That's mindful eating. Wish I could be sitting with you and Justin having tea in your beautiful balcony garden. 💚 💙 💛
OMG a friend brought me a chinese tea and we never knew what it was made from but now that I see it in your tea I can finally confirm it was just roasted brown rice haha
Lovely video + any food video will make anyone hungry! Seeing that ironing machine you used for the curtain makes me remember that i burnt a sleeve of my school uniform during college XD
I grew up on my Aunts dairy farm in Alberta, Canada. She worked with the agriculture program at the University in Okinawa, and every year she had two students come over and learn how to work on a large farming operation in North America. I felt sorry for those students when they came over and had to eat her food! But they were definitely hard workers and asked many questions, and they weren't afraid to try anything... including riding bucking bulls! LOL!
When I miss Japan, it is often a food memory that triggers the feeling. I love and miss Japanese cuisine. Sharing a meal makes people like each other or as the feel closer with strong bond. Eating the same food leads to trust and cooperation because they feel closer with the feeling of intimacy among those eating together, share the experience with eating and drinking.
Pizza toast is one of my sons favourite food. I put tomato sauce (if i don''t have one I use ketchup), Salami and cheese on toast and put it in the oven for ten minutes. In a few butcher stores here in Germany you also find pizza toast or pizza rolls but they have a mixture of cheese, sause and filling on it which doesn't look appetizing
Love this video! I like seeing what your day looks like. Your neighborhood looks wonderful and it’s nice to walk or bike all over the place. 🙂 PS: Your balcony is awesome!
Everything looks good! I'm glad you got to sit out on your balcony to enjoy an al fresco lunch :D When Shinichi goes out for exercise, I get inspired to exercise too!
You're making me hungry for Japanese food but none of the Japanese restaurants deliver; you can order it by phone (or online for some) but then you have to drive over to pick it up and we don't have a car. I'm glad both of you are now well again. Be safe and stay healthy.

Everything looks so tasty. You guys have such a wonderful view from your balcony. You have done a very nice job of decorating your balcony. I absolutely loved the bike ride. Thanks for the video!
Really enjoying your video! Thank you so much for sharing! Definitely thinking about signing up for the box. Also please show more of your dog! So cute
When you don't speak Japanese and want to explore Japanese food, this is the UA-cam food video to follow. How often do you come across two Japanese men speaking good English recommending their native Japanese food to you?
It's my second year as an elementary school English teacher in Japan. It took me a while to get used to Japanese school lunch... Overall, I enjoy the school lunches but there are two items that I really don't enjoy: simmered kiriboshi daikon and natto.😅 Luckily for me, natto is served rarely and kiriboshi daikon only every couple of weeks.
😍That subscription box wooow, will you continue to do the box review and taste test? I hope soooo much😅 Never seen such a box, oh wow, exactly my taste and interest😍

That sandal rain cover is absolutely glorious :D Also, is that olive tree real? I've never seen one kept on a balcony that actually carried olives. Your gardening skills are positively magical
Thank goodness i wasnt the only one thinking that!😂 i IMMEDIATELY said "oh! Hes done riding it!" As soon as he pulled up to the bike rack!😭😂😂😂 i swear he was bout to crash numerous times between those poles and a few other things!😭😭😭😂
Same! The camera definitely makes things look MUCH narrower than they actually are though, there was a person walking with a stroller through one of the areas and that stroller is definitely wider than a person on a bike.
I love your videos, you two are the sweetest people on You Tube.
Love me some Tabieats videos Lisa!
I am most impressed with the sponsor of today's episode working with local farmers NOT big corporations.
I would love to try that Shio Kouji marinade !!
LOVE what you've done with the veranda. What a lovely little garden you've created.

Stay safe and well fellas and keep up the good work! ☺️☺️
I loved the dog appearing while you were eating rice cakes and looking so hopeful beside you!
How convenient...delivery to order. Looks delicious and very neatly displayed...
Sharing is caring, great video guys thank you :).
In Japan, the food literally embodies the saying, 'what you see is what you get.' Expectation and Reality looks the same
Definitely subscribing! I love the Japanese culture especially the food aspect, everything looks DELICIOUS! 😫

What a beautiful view with great food, Love it, take care friend
The plants on your balcony reminds me of Shinichi's mother's yard in Hawaii (that I saw in one video).
