I've been quietly lurking for a while now, watching reactions to Lara and being introduced to songs I never knew she had sung. Watching and lurking as I did, I started realizing that this woman can sound like Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion AND herself. And when she sounds like 'herself' she mixes it up. Songs where she puts more breath and dynamics in versus a more direct type of singing. Not to mention she changes the versions of her songs all the time. And then, to top it off, she can keep up with Whitney. She's like a chameleon, she picks the way she wants to sound, and then, somehow...does...
LURKER ALERT! ⚠️🤣🤣🤣 But seriously... Lara is simply fantastic! A legend! And honestly it is a crime she isn't mentioned in the same breath as Celine, Whitney and Mariah! ❤️🌶️🥰

The intro, in which she dedicates this song to her parents in the hall on the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary, has been omitted ..... In it she tells a small joke that makes the whole hall laugh ... In that concert she has several tells jokes between songs ......... Her rendition of Barbara Streisand's ""papa can you hear me"" is sublime .....

At the beginning of the song Lara said ''for you Sonia'' which refers to Sonia's wish.....Sonia was a very big fan of Lara and knew her great potential........What Lara sings in her free hours is another matter......lara was only 24 years old at that time and Lara became known in whole Canada in one minit by the ring that her boyfriend offered to Lara on te Sonia show
