A brilliant tribute to Dolly's writing ability. Because Dolly used it to close her variety show every week, her creation was a big part of my youth, and oddly to some, she mostly did it in a near whisper, rather than belt, as I recall

Dolly always expresses her gratitude for Whitney Houston making that little song of mine into such a beautiful high production song. Every time “I will love you is preformed on tv, played on the radio, or recorded on an album Dolly gets paid.
