Ha. I remember buying a copy this video when it was first released about 20 years ago. Actually brings back a lot of memories now that Im seeing it again here.
The flaps are immediately retracted for two reasons: 1 - to prevent the impact of snow residues; 2- and to decrease lift in order to increase grip on the ground to make the braking action on the track more effective
And if anyone watching is curious, this airplane is still operating out of KAPA. Now registered as N577NE, she is now totally unrecognizable from what you see in this video. Complete overhaul and makeover in 2022. New paint, interior, G1000s, new PT6s with five-blade props, etc. Looks brand new. I think it is now on the market, in case you have $5.5 million laying around. :)
Great video. I'm a (non-active @ this time) student pilot. I SO appreciate the very abbreviated explanations of the actions taken by the pilot. Just a few key words and that's it--simple and direct and nothing more-love it. Also appreciate being able to hear all the ATC chatter. While I'm now a "flight sim" pilot, I love this REAL LIFE video! Thank you!!
Are used to fly out of Denver Centennial at Ramp area hotel. And I know Telluride airport sits right on the Mesa as I was flying out of Rangely Colorado. Denver centennial is my favorite airport and it’s my home airport. Thanks for sharing an awesome video and all the memories.
Does the KA-350 auto-pilot work for you? The command bars and AP modes work when AI is flying, but I can't get them to turn on when I'm flying. I was hoping to practice approaches with it in X-Plane 12. Thanks!
This is the older original install called EFIS 85. Newer Garmin G1000NXi is a huge upgrade but costs lots of $$$ and most of the round gauges are on the glass screens. New aircraft already have Glass cockpits.
The mode is needed in case of engine failure. The blades are aligned with the flow and create minimal flow resistance. If this did not happen, look for the words "autorotation", "screw stop" and so on in the Airplane Flight Manual.

This is how any aviation video from the cockpit should be done :) specially for the audio ;)
Thats a beautiful plane😮

Great video, someone please remake this in 1080p!
WOW
Yeah
I own this plane in X-Plane 11 and it is the most realistic aircraft I've ever seen in a flight sim

I wanted to find the PC-12 video from this company and you can’t find it anywhere anymore
ROYAL AIR MAROC delivery 😁
If they removed the glass screens, they could put in more gauges! Actually surprised of all the gauges! Pilot preference or cost for more glass?

Well it looks like someone forgot the old 29.92 switch over at FL180 on the way up!!!!

This is so weird. Such an advanced aircraft with all of those steam gauges.
Arrow indicators are more visual than the huge G1000 panel 🧐
Ever see the concordes cockpit? Or an old 747 or other older airliners? That’ll blow your mind lol
autofeather ? rudder assist ?

Why would you want to retract your flaps immediately after rollout?
Ok. Mucho avion turbo elice
Altimiter shows landing elevation at around 5800 feet. 1:14:16 About right?
what is the code of the destination airport
KTEX 🧐
"We cheated death again."
Not quite what you would expect to hear a pilot saying at the end of a flight, is it? Just a tad unprofessional.
Its a common comment. The full comment is "we cheated gravity and death again."
Another pilot joke "What do ya know, We made it!"
NOT WORTH WATCHING
why?
Yeah, why?
Indeed... why?
Not worth reading your comment.
You're not worth oxygen
