Thanks, this is the best c10 wiring explained That I have come across. Now to find a great vid explaining wiring my relay box which is exactly like yours
Glad you were able to get some good information out of it! I actually am working on another swap that I'll be using the same relay panel and will do a more in depth explanation on it when I get to that point. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey Jason Great video I have watched it about 12-15 times now. Lol I still have been able to get my square body running. It’s a 88 suburban Silverado. And in my hick head has only 2 large red wires. And a bunch of extra wires Anyways I still can seem to get mine running I have the aftermarket 4 wire fuse box Fuel pump comes on I get fuel to the rail but not pumping I was hoping u could help me please
Hey Peter, so you have fuel pressure at the rail but the pump doesn't run when the key is on? Am I understanding correctly? Are you using the pcm to control the fuel pump or just a simple relay controlled by the ignition switch?

@@bubbabatterby7059 if you're LS swapping, you can get rid of that lil computer or just disconnect and leave it. It was used for the distributor timing.
All of those relays and fuses for the injectors are not necessary. Injectors are fired one at a time. Not all 8 at once. I had a 15 amp fuse for bank one and another fuse for bank 2.
To be honest... I ran out of relays and I wanted to get it started asap. I have a few changes I want to make now that I've had it driving for a few months, and getting the fuel pump wired to be controlled by the PCM is on that list of changes.
Nice! I want to do a terminator at some point, right now I'm not doing anything wild enough that the stock computer can't handle it and I can't justify the cost of terminator until I actually need it. I think everybody's definition of cheap is different, but I do believe that they can be done for under $1000 if the person is willing to take the time to find good deals, and learn how to do what is needed.
Thank you so much, after two days of watching videos my 5.3 is finally alive 💯💯💯💯💯💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
That's AWESOME!!!! Glad this helped and glad you got it RUNNING!!!!
Wish you would’ve showed the relay wiring . I’m new to relays. Still a good video and one of my favorite channels.🔥🔥🔥
Have another one I'm working on, will be getting the video on wiring up in a couple weeks
@@MohawkMotors ok thank you!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hey bro shoot me a sketch of how you wire your injectors and relays
Here's a link for a relay

Injectors are even easier, 1 wire is power, the other wire goes to the pcm.
And what did u did to the other wires? The ones u mentioned on the block, the grey/blue,a/c wires, yellow, etc????
The ones that I didn't use I just put heat shrink over the end to seal it and coiled them up in case I need them later.
@@MohawkMotors @ purple wire from truck? Goes direct to starter???
You running the stock 2 pin neutral safety I take it ? considering your using purple wire to excited ? Or did you by pass the safety switch ?
I just de-activated the neutral safety in the PCM.

Thanks! I appreciate it!!
Thanks, Guy🦾🙏🏽
No problem!
Thank you very much.
No problem, hope it helped
Where did you get the aftermarket relay box?
Amazon

So how do you wire it if it doesn’t have the third power wire
You could run your own power wire, or tap into another circuit, or split one of the circuits you used already.

What harness wise do I need to keep from the squarebody.
I didn't keep much of the engine harness, just a couple of the wires powered when the key is on and the starter excited wire.
Thanks man. How about inside cab harness.
Left it alone, all I did inside the cab was add my boost and AFR Gauges
@@MohawkMotors yeah I was wondering because the computer that's above the heater box.

Good to know, will save me a little wiring and space in the panel for the next swap!
Since you're doing fuel injection. Why not have the computer control your fuel pump?
