The sonic trax and encore use a press in bearing

Service manual says to torque the axle nut to 112ft-lb then to back it off 45° and then final torque of 184ft-lb. Is it okay to only do the 112ft-lb like you did? Or does it need the full 184?

I would follow what your service manual says to do
