I didn't know Macau SAR and Hong Kong SAR use traditional Chinese. I thought is was only Taiwan. Thank you for telling us, I learned something new today.
By the way, nice video. I recently bought the HSK 1 and 2. I recommend buying the teacher version that comes with an audio CD, if you are studying on your own. Have a nice weekend

Hi! I’m from Taiwan and I just discovered your channel. I’d like to add some more information about this video:
Macau and Hong Kong do use traditional Chinese, but it’s a little bit different from Taiwan’s traditional Chinese since they have a lot of words which are specifically for Cantonese, so some Taiwanese people who don’t speak Cantonese might not understand the meaning or the pronunciation of those words.

May I know about "Hanyu Jiaocheng" and "Boya Chinese" as most people say it is the very good one as well. Anyway, upon studying at my university (major in Chinese), I also use Road to Success as well and now I continue using till advanced for self-study. For practical audio visual chinese, it is the good series one, but "a course in contemporary chinese" series replace with this series in Taiwan I think. In my country "HSK standard course" is very popular one since it is colorful, interesting, updated for Chinese communication. In my opinion, I actually don't prefer HSK standard series since the layout looks a bit complicated. Road to Success is my preferred one.
