Finally, a “reality” show that is real. No fake deadlines, no parts appearing as if by magic and no contrived drama. Just two people getting the job done. Thank you two very much.
No kidding.
So true... well said
Amen !!!!!!!!!!!!
thats one of the things that make this a real nice show. no drama or magic just the real deal.
This will be the wedding of weddings. The most exciting car build that I have ever experienced. I marvel at your ingenuity, and vision!
🤙🏼
You know how sometimes you walking along in a junkyard and you see cars piled on top of each other well that's enough said.
You’re a true artist chad...and jolene you’re the best for documenting the ride for the world to see...cheers to you both!
I want to thank you both for this eye opening project that has deeply inspired me. For years, I have thought about doing a project like taking an old road tractor cab and installing it on a late model 80-90's truck frame but now I see what you are doing and is much more interesting an idea to create something unique looking. Now I am on the hunt for the right bodies to work with.
I like the idea of locating a 60's era longnose Peterbuilt setting it on a Dodge 3500 dually with a flat bed fith wheel
I just sold my mini big rig. F150 WITH A Kenworth cab. Had a lot of fun with it. The guy who bought it is going to beast it out.
@@c50ge wondering about the registration ....did you have any issues getting tags title for it ? Here in NC..they seem very restrictive about modified vehicles and when I ask DMV they just show me rules that prohibit it
@@neuromanglers
It was just titled as a 1984 F-150 checked with 2 different Secretary of State offices. Both said ok no problem all went well.
@@c50ge as it should be
COE means Cab over Engine. This is hood over engine or hood over hood
I liked it better before he started pushing the cab back farther and farther. Push it back forward and make a snub nose like a big rig is my vote
COAC,, Cab Over Another Car..
If you throw a rod and it can’t hit you in the ass, it’s not a cab over!
Yeah it's not a cab over at all. There was a real 48 ford coe at ashow last weekend and the engine is under the seat. This thing isn't even going to have a bed. Just a open trunk. I hope he steps back and moves the cab forward a lot.
Ah, time to sit down, relax, and watch a little manic fun 🤗
I watch a lot of car shows and this one has quickly becoming one of my favorites Chad is a visionary and Jolene is fantastic with the camera it blows my mind how these builds are performed by just two people 😍
Chad has lost his mind on this one🤦♂️
I'm only at 50 minutes but I sure hope he moves the cab forward more. It's not remotely cab over at this point it's just a cab on top of a car. The vision has been undone at this point.
That lift is maxed out. It was never made to go any higher. I wanted to yell at you through the screen lol. Love you chad.
WHOO HOOO #19 today - purely by accident, I might add - but a day with Chad & Jolene is WIN-WIN in my book!
Good to go!!
Very nice
Awesome in my book 💯👍👍😁
Lindsey Allison, I love your name 👍💯
Chad, do not let any of that slag stay on you. Get it off ASAP. A buddy of mine who was a welder had a piece of slag land on him and he did not get it off . It turned to Cancer he is now no longer with us. Be care full !! Congratulations on your wedding.
A suddenly forced marriage at the tip of a welding gun - isn't much of a romance or a match made in automotive heaven. - I'm left wondering what their kiddie cars will look like!!!!
probably cute little buggy's when small - but when they grow up - all nose and beady little eyes!
😆
Lindsey Allison Westhaven. Is your first name Lisa?
Evening Chad, a few episode back you were talking about putting the body on the floor and tracing it out. At the big box Dollar store that we are all familiar with around here, if you go to the wrapping paper section they have rolls of brown paper, was thinking it would be less expensive to use that instead of the Bristol board. Wouldn't be much good for designing floor panels in the car but maybe good for doing designing stuff on the garage floor or something. If ya know what I mean!
Got me best clothes on for this wedding, gonna be killer when the cab is on there. Keep at her and stay hydrated, gonna be warm week ahead. Next week spose to be hot hot hot
If its too big to get inside the shop, you might want to make some temporary tiny wheels out of plywood. You get the car finished up to installing the drive train. (You would run the risk of people calling the car "The Flintstonemobile".)
Plywood wheels would cost more than real ones at this point in the economy! Lol
The hoist is probably low on hydraulic fluid
Can’t wait to see finish product. Just found y’all now going back to look at previous videos. Congratulations on the future wedding
I love the idea of an El Camino cab over. That might be a first.
I am glad to be a spectator at this wedding. May they have a long life together. I would love to own this wonderful piece of art.
Alright ready for the wedding .Build Fina a dog house out of the Merc top.
Chad & Jolene I think this marriage between these two cars is FANTASTIC, I never seen nothing like this built before, I've only ever seen one but it was all done. But they made a truck bed in the back of it. So I can't wait to see this one get built all the way through. 💯👍👍🙏
What is Chad on to be running around like a Chicken with his head cut off .he likes chicken jokes obviously 😂😂
It's gonna be a weld gun wedding... :)
I like your enthusiasm, with every single project, big or small, doesn't matter. Cheers, for the wedding!
I was screaming, crank the ratchet strap! Really like your new project!
So was I 🙂
The ratchet strap almost bit him it was so close! Lol
A couple of clicks may have done it... but he figured out a way using his own weight and leverage.
Thank you for Inviting All to the Wedding !!! You Both Make a Awesome TEAM !!!
"Nothing ruins a Friday more than an understanding that today is Tuesday."
Congratulations to Jolene, she would make a great model. Enjoyed the wedding. Thanks for inviting us.
this is a blind chop and build .we will see how much he has to modify.
Bit of cutting here and bit of cutting there and in she goes happily ever after, so good to watch. Thanks Chad and Jolene
I hope that Ford and Mercury don’t have any off spring after getting married. 🤣🤣
Hey guys, this has been my favourite build so far. It's the pickup reinvented, how much better the modern version would have looked if this had been the starting point 80 years ago
Ether you need to add fluid or change it and the filter if it has one, maybe grease the uprights
The lift is at full lift.
You do keep the suspense alive, I prefer your style to the stress of the network, the network did a great job and I am thankful they did it, and may pick things up again, but I hope they allow you to be true to your vision, to your dreams, blessings
With such serious welds, there ain't ever gonna be a divorce. Chad says so!
genio , talentoso !!! y una gran diseñado de autos , que con poco hace maravillas ....is veri good,!!! the best !!
Is it going to fit through the garage door to go back inside ? Looks to high.
Way cool build . There ain’t nobody got a car like that. One of a kind!
Could you imagine Chad's shop with bleachers on either side and this bunch of live stream commenters yelling instructions to him ... lol.
That would be a crazy peanut gallery !
Clear cut case of( just because you can, doesn't mean you should...) Good thing none of these youtube piles get finished. "If you know what I'm sayin"
I think you are correct!
Are you ever going to finish a build? You seem to get stuck after the fabrication. Your yard must be full of unfinished projects...lol.
Investments, something for customers to choose from to finish if they have the bread $$$, that's what I'm thinking. Sounds like a good strategy to me. Inventory, maybe, maybe not. 🤔🤷♂️
It does look pretty darn cool. Imagine driving it. A head turner, a show stopper. A crowd drawer.
For whatever reason your show makes me giggle
The remedy is let the thing down, re rig it higher and put it on. Not running around in a panic or keep trying the same thing that didn't work.
Why would you wanna build something like this?
Why not
Because he can. Because he's Bad Chad.
Who else has 1 ? 1 of a kind. 😉
Thats a great question?
This Monarch is a caterpillar just waiting to emerge as a butterfly! Chad is giving it wings! Many thanks from Omemee, Ontario, Canada ~1946 Studebaker Truck Street Rod
Wish I was your neighbor, you could use someone to help every once in a while.
Need to go back and look at the picture
And look at the door alignment
I would slide the 36 back a little bit more
It's supposed to be a COE
She’s at the top Chad! she won’t go any further. Loving the build, keep up the good work 👍
Pull it up with the ratchet strap
How to destroy 2 cars at one time!
I think you need to add fluid in your hoist by the looks of things. btw build yourself a Gantry Crane for jobs like this! They don't cost much to build and they will save you massive time in the long run a lot of less headaches. It will save your back and your health. jeez man, this is painful to watch, but She should look cool when its done.
Actually when my wife and I got married, we had a very small wedding and a small party afterwards. The next day, we took off on our honeymoon. Went to Mediterranean on a boat cruise for two weeks. It was our wedding not anyone else's. That's how I looked at it, so that is what we did instead of spending $40,000 on a huge Wedding Reception.
Man you move at 100 mph. Whilst the truck you are building is not my cup of tea, it doesn't have to be, it;s yours. Great creativity and energy, I can't stop watching. Best wishes to you both from Australia.
It sure would be awesome to put a really big engine in it. Something like a supercharged viper v10 or maybe twin Jaguar 6’s. Maybe a V12 tank engine. 😜
Very cool!👍 I have a Neon/Subaru I built in a similar manner.
The steering will have to have a chain run down to the other shaft and a couple gears on it because of the height of the cab shouldn't be too hard a couple sprockets sprags and a chain and a pillow block or two and I think that cab over will turn good.
Chain oil for a chain saw works good, a lot of people use it for power steering, etc
onward and upward....your show just continues to evolve better and better, quite interesting to watch. Congrats Jolene and Chad
I know you're going to make that all fit but looking at it now it looks like a lot of welding and square tubing ahead I don't know what's more fun watching you weld and fabricate or watching you making your old broken down equipment work for you
You are absolutely amazing what a brilliant mind you have for designing and I know you're having lots of fun doing it
I'm really liking the concept you're going for. Looking forward to seeing how the two bodies integrate. Have been wondering about the bed and how the proportions will look, and if more length will be needed.
Cant wait. My favorite Wedding day 👉😎😎😎😎😎
Hello Chad, love your vision and skill with your various projects.
It's not just the boys watching your channel ;-)
Great camera work Jolene, thank you.
I enjoy watching your boldness in creativity and confidence to see it through
BC: Visionary customizer with boundless energy
Also BC: oddly works with frustrating broken lift rather than fixing it
All that aside, its fun to watch the artist freestyle chop cut weld in unique creation.
Jolene a new pump for that hoist is like 300 american,it pay itself off in just time savings easy
The beast of Chadenstien is coming together. The fun is coming. Can't wait to see this creation in its final form.
Hello from Pennsylvania...never watched so much TV, you guys are addicting! Thanks for sharing your talent and adventures.
oh now that the cut has been made the joining of the 2 will commence .. Love your vision Chad cant wait to see it all together
great job chad. you're able to visualize something just by looking at a car, then making it real. i would love to hang out in your shop to pick up some of your experience and wisdom.
Bendpack should sponsor this man a lift asap!!!!!
Hats off to hoists working at their capacity. Well done!
Hi, New York is here and watching...i truly like what you do and what you are the master.....best of luck with your creations!!!!!!!!!!✌🤠🤞🇺🇸
C.j. & Linda here to say hello/ again, awsome challenge....will there be a rockabilly get together this year ? trying to plan vacation around it like we did for #10
CHADDYY CHADDY CHADDY, Change the lift point of the 36 brother !!!
at 44:20 you took wood OUT. If you lifted the 36 Cab on each side and slid another piece IN - on each side, or one long peice all the way right through it would lift the whole 36 Cab higher and fix your clearance issues with the hoist.
I thought you almost had that solution figured out but you went the other way and let the tyres down and started adding weight to the mercury.
I was thinking the same thing. Just use 4x4 and get the extra height.
Chad, It would be an honor if when you & Jolene get married to do the ceremony for you. I am ordained, and have done several marriages for family members.
Thats an ambitious project and its going to turn heads when it moving on its own. I can't see it being finished right away but its still going to look awesome. The new 3 or 4 days will be exciting to watch as she takes shape.
Great video of a very special wedding, never seen before, love it ,great work of both of you
Bad Chad is too the UA-cam car world, as Tom MacDonald is too the UA-cam music world!!! Both are legends and we are along for a magical journey!!!
The car lift was/is at its maximum travel. Lower it and put boards under the roof
Hi Chad and Jolene, again i stayed up till after midnight to wacth the show live, unforunately the sound quality was poor and that ment thati could only wacth the video and fell asleep as Chad voice and the way he explain what he doing is 80 , %of the show which i realy enjoy. The is becoming very annoying and i am sure that your current network could surely
provide or at least sponser you with up to date equipment. For surely this will benefit them and the ratings and all subscribers will happy. Must say that beside the sound problems i still enjoy your show and will keep on staying awake till after midnight here in South Africa to watch your show live.Goodbye Charel Esterhuizen.
I couldn’t quite see your vision, but once that cab dropped down it really came together. I think it’s gonna look wild! you may need to increase the height of the shop door, it might not fit.
Great work and project, great camera angles. Good views from all over the cars…
This is a marriage and we're getting married too! ~ Bobby & Sue
Wow Chad, you and Jolene are doing an incredible job on the build and also the channel!!! Keep up the great work, I wish I had the space to build my toy's like you have built at home!!!
Thanks Mike
P.s. keep up the great work!!!
Starting to see it now, although I know where you are going with it.
I do fear it will be a very long time before we see this finished.
Chad you are an absolute legend and the video footage is just amazing. What you guys can achieve in 1hour puts everyone else to shame, generally whilst using a limited amount of equipment that most of us can afford. Excluding the dodgy car hoist that he hardly ever used due to its unreliability.
I'm digging the build. It's straight out of Whoville.
I love this build. Nice to see something different. How many red 1957 Chevys can you guys build? How many Chevelle's with the band aid stripes do we need, or as a Mopar guy like me, sublime green Dodges? Chad I get you man!
We were sweating it there for a minute with you Chad I am glad to see how you bounce back really quick with that have a good one
Love the content really enjoy watching each episode with my pops who has Alzheimer's disease but everytime we watch your content it seems to bring him back to his car days thanks for the great content
Great for you for taken care of
I used to do the same - cheers
@@popsbronco thanks cheers my friend
If you put a gooseneck hitch just above where the rear axle is, build a trailer to match it would look really cool - could be a caf trailer or a travel trailer, would be useful too.
A hermaphrodite isn't a hermaphrodite if their anatomical parts are not in the right place if they have a males parts where they are supposed to be but a vagina on their side then they are just a person who mostly absorbed their twin sister in the womb and not a hermaphrodite the same applies to matching 2 vehicles together look at the position of the A-pillar of the visually appealing drawing and look where you actually placed the top part get it out from under the lift and look at it from the side it just doesn't look right. I'll probably get reported for this comment but I don't care the Truth is the Truth.
Wonder if they are compatible since they barely just met !! 😂
I couldn't hit the play button fast enough, I thought you and Jolene were getting married live on UA-cams.. Lol.
Very cool build
Certainly not afraid to cut anything up !!
Just when I think you can't possibly top your last project, you go and make another cooler (than dangit) project! Best wishes on this, the day of the wedding! Omemee, Ontario, Canada ~1946 Studebaker Truck Street Rod
Joining you guys on this special day of Holy matrimony, your 63 & 49 Mr & Mrs Cabover. Watching now, in Hawaii it’s 16:40 just got home from shopping on this day the 6th day of July 🤙😎👍
I absolutely like Chad's work for sure, but I love Jolene's smooth and well lit cinematography .
is it something else that will not get finished ,but still enjoying the video.
I really like the marriage of that car that's a great-looking ride it's going to be even nice when it's totally completed and finished a lot of work Chad a lot of work Buddy and you're doing a great job and I wish you the best of all Marion those two cars together play it safe
My question is, how do you go about registering these custom-made Autos in your province period is it now considered a home-built or can you still use your old ownership and serial numbers?
Hey Joe Putt here. This is so cool. Love to watch Chad work. Can’t believe I’m going to see my drawing actually come to life
Hey Joe Putt, your drawing is really cool. This is the coolest build yet I figure. He's done some fantastic builds but this is something off the wall, completely different and way cool.
Awesome drawing Joe 👌
Big day wow congratulations on the marriage of two beautiful beautiful arts parts
