- This is our new project trailer!
I've owned a couple 6x10 enclosed trailers over the past decade. They were extremely handy and easily tow-able even with my 4 cylinder Toyotas. Now, with the 2020 Ford F250 it was time to get something bigger!
This trailer is a 2020 Interstate Loadrunner 7x14 Enclosed Trailer with dual axles rated at 3,500lbs each. It has trailer brakes. Rear ramp door. Side door. Extra tall at 7.5ft interior height. Rear stabilizer jacks. Plywood interior. Welded construction with 16" wall studs. Rear door is rated for 3,000 lb load. Total GVWR is 7,000lbs. Empty weight is 2,300lbs. So it can carry ~ 4,700lb
The loadrunner is the middle grade trailer. Victory is the base model. Pro Series is the top model. Really the best value is the loadrunner with the best upgrades overall for the money.
We will be using the trailer for our rental projects. Will be building rolling shelving this spring and organizing tools. Keep posted!

I have a thing for trailers too. I currently have two cargo trailers, an 8.5x20 and a 7x12.
8.5' is a wide trailer. What do you haul with it?
Good review, I just came back from the Interstate dealer and was looking at this model but a 16' maybe customize a new one. As far as flipping your springs I asked about that since I camp off road (mine will be a coversion to a RV) they stated it will void the suspension warranty....best check it out first. They seem to built pretty solid. What is the size ball the trailer tongue uses and did it come with safety chains? Thanks for the review
We just did the spring over conversion. Gave about 6in lift. It does require welding new spring perch on but easy. Maybe we will post a video about it... love the clearance!!! 2 5/8" ball - yes on chains. Thanks for sharing!
Looking at the 2023 version of this. The first thing to do is install a small hidden GPS tracker just in case it wanders off.
That's not a bad plan! Insurance is a good option too. Our HD hitch receiver lock has worked so far
Really digg'n your trailer. Looking into the extra height option, are we talking $ or $$$?
Thanks! I think the retail cost is ~$1,000 extra. We found this trailer on a dealer lot and negotiated it to the same cost as the standard height version. Thanks COVID. :)
@@TruckCamper what was the total cost? Looking to buy one and wanted to have a rough idea of cost before going to a dealer
I have the same one. Just purchased it. Curious, does it make a ton of noise, almost like something is breaking, when turning sharply and backing up? Thought I was screwing something up, but maybe it’s normal?
Haven't noticed any noise like that. Actually it's been quiet for a trailer
@@TruckCamper arghh!! I was hoping it was normal. Even when not turning too sharp in reverse this thing sounds like it’s almost about to snap the wheel off the axle
@@TruckCamper going straight forward or back is fine. Only when reversing and turning
@@jeffbrown5331 You might want to inspect and nail down the cause...
@@jeffbrown5331
Are you sure it’s coming from the axles?
Sometimes just lubing the hitch equipment will get rid of a lot of noise when turning.
How’s it holding up? Thinking about buying one this week just like it
It has been a champ! Great tool. Hauled it cross country multiple times. Love the extra tall height. Love the rear gate.
Thank you plz can I now how to attach the trailer with the truck?
We will do another video soon talking about towing...
9:48 - I totally agree on your commentary about length. I use my brother's 16' trailer for about a year, I hated the length. It was too long to fit the truck and the trailer on two parking spaces with my long bed, crew cab truck.
I like having E-track on the wall. You can see the E-track in this video: ua-cam.com/video/pBQ-ZOxlQHE/v-deo.html
We installed E-Track on the entire length of the trailer... Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
So, you have to stop the ride in order for the person inside the car to drive out in order to eat/drink/poop, or do you do all that inside the trailer while in the car without stopping..?? But, if you back it in, you can climb over the back & down the ramp..!
Those are the options! We actually never transported the car in the trailer. But it was fun to see if it could fit! Really love this trailer... 8ft interior roof height is incredible. Thanks for sharing!
What color is that?
I believe it's call "Star Silver". Really cool color.
How much was the trailer?
MSRP was around $10k. We paid around $6k for it... thanks to COVID slow down (start of 2020).
Nice!! I have a thing to for these trailers as well...my wife doesn't get it...thank you for the quick response..lol
That car is overloading that ramp. Just so you know.
Nope. That door is rated for 3,500lbs. Our Rav4 is 2,500lbs total. Lots of margin! Thanks for sharing your concern.
@@TruckCamper really? I thought they were over 4000lbs. If that's the case you are correct. Seen a lot of them overloaded it's never good. Very nice trailer.
@@bertoa1587 Those 1st generation Rav4 were very light. The 4 door was about 3k lbs. The modern versions are hefty... it is a great trailer! We've really been enjoying it. :)
What’s the inside height.
8ft interior height.... it has the extra height roof
@@TruckCamper thanks
