A behind-the-scenes featurette I made in 2009 about my filming experience in Mexico, filming the WILD BUNCH location in 2002 for my 2-hour film on Peckinpah, PASSION & POETRY - THE BALLAD OF SAM PECKINPAH (out on DVD). I was supported by Texan Rolly Brook and accompanied by Sam's daughter, Lupita Peckinpah.

The film a part of my life since I was 12. Now at 60 still important film. I want some of my ashes placed where the large table with machine gun was at. I hope the Mexican community near the winery preserve this site as it was in 1969.

The Wild Bunch, Straw Dogs, Bring Me The Head of Alfrefo Garcia and The Getaway were Sam Pechinpah's masterpieces. Steve McQueen was great in The Getaway .

Convoy was pretty good to, shared the same theme about a guy who's getting older and his way of life is disappearing, with a final shootout.
And it had the great Ernest Borgnine in it also.
