I feel like I must avoid a lot of musical ideas just because I don't want to "copy" the work. For example: Most likely I won't upload Genesis because you already did it.

wow i was surprised to see that this was released 2 days ago, what a coincidence. i'd love to see (uhh hear?) some more stuff from isaac. also, i notice you don't have anything from Hollow Knight on your channel. that game has an excellent soundtrack. to be fair, it's mostly string, but there are some piano-centric songs like Dirtmouth, and i'm sure plenty of the more string-heavy tracks would transfer well to piano
As much as I love the game it self and its soundtrack I don't see a point uploading Hollow Knight content this far in the release of it. There are plenty of an amazing arrangements out there at the moment and It's hard to stick out especially when my arrangements aren't jaw dropping. To be honest I wasn't sure about Isaac either but since Repentance came out I gave it a go and was surprised how well Antibirth tracks were made. My gut feeling was right this time but really soon I will have to move on to a different game.

Yup, the way I used to make those videos were to make the MIDI file first and and then overlay the audio recording + video of me playing. In other words the MIDI you see here isn't necessarily the one you hear me play.
