I moved to New Haven from Northampton, Massachusetts (about a 90-minute drive to the northwest) to attend grad school @ Yale.
I VASTLY preferred living in Western Massachusetts (where I did my undergraduate college years), BUT, Yale is where it is. New Haven wasn't exactly my favorite place that I've lived, BUT Yale is (by FAR) the most INCREDIBLE place I've had the opportunity to study at.
For a Jewish kid from Brooklyn who grew up with English Professor parents who taught in the CUNY system, Yale was like intellectual manna in the desert. 🤣🤓
New Haven has changed soo much for the better the last 5 years. Soo much new development

I wanted to say a few criticisms for improvement
1. Make good thumbnails because you don't have good thumbnails at all, it can help you a lot.
2. Try to keep the camera steady so that it does not shake

R.i.P Cutlers records, Yankee doodle delicious burgers, awesome little cinema that played great old foreign movies, the educated 🍔 burger, ALL GONE just on Broadway replaced by swanky expensive boutiques for snotty Yalies (not all) us locals LOVE Yale university but it's took over the whole city making the price of housing almost impossible to live.

What a joke. Grew up in New Haven, so I can tell whoever actually shot this video never strayed more than four blocks from that parking lot! Were you afraid to cross the street and shoot the beautiful and historic New Haven Green? Or any of the stunning architecture around the Yale University campus? You walked four blocks in ONE direction, and called it a day. LMAO
I agree, also from New Haven, moved away, by even seeing what I did, made me homesick. Bechtel Chapel, and the Old Campus, plus the churches on the green. Missed going down to see Toad's Place.
You didn't even cover 1/4 of downtown.
