"Greenwitch" is in upstate NY. GRENich is in CT. The towns of CT (many with multiple villages) are where most want to live. All the cities have their challenges. New London is my favorite City, and all the surrounding shoreline towns are great.
From someone who was born & raised in Connecticut, the suburbs of New Haven, Bridgeport & Hartford are gorgeous to live in. I was raised in Seymour & Ansonia, but bought a house with an ocean view near New Haven. Best decision I made and my wife who is from Boston completely agreed with this.
Really, no. The rainstorm that affected Oxford and surrounding areas but buildings literally built in the edge of Little River. Anybody knows, you are chancing it when you build THAT close. I just went by there literally today and the bridge was rebuilt in record time and the roads are also if not being worked on. I would worry about Florida and North Carolina way, way more than Connecticut. However, in the grand scheme of things, you know we're heading into a 'special' timeframe, and we will see everywhere more and more of these things. If you have a hope for the future, then all you need to do exercise common sense during this time.....
1. Ridgefield 2. Wilton 3. Brookfield 4. Newtown 5. Norwalk 6. New Milford 7. North Stamford Everywhere else is too expensive for what you get or too dangerous
From someone born and raised in Connecticut. New Haven is absolutely not supposed to be on this list 😂 next to Bridgeport and Hartford it’s the worst to live lmfao
The is a lot of music and art and events in the area. The downtown area, east rock and westville area are very walkable. There is just a lot more to do compared to other towns/cities in the CT
New Haven & Hartford good places to live? Certainly you jest! Connecticut is one of those places that have a lot of nice towns to live in, but you better have a sizeable income to afford them. If not, you may have to live in not-so-nice and often dangerous places.
I spent most of my life living in New Haven and it has absolutely no business being on this list. Westville is one of the worse areas in New Haven and Wooster square is only a few blocks long and is crazy expensive. And West Hartford is straight up ghetto. This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
As someone who was born, raised and still lives in Connecticut, 8. New Haven is an awesome place my mom drove through all the time when I was a kid 7. Never been there 6. Stanford, I've been there a few times and its beautiful!! 5. Hartford, this is where I went to my docit appointments and still do, its extremely beautiful and amazing! Driving through it at night as absolutely awesome and my mom drive with me and my brother through there all the time!! 4. Never been there 3. Middletown, a place I drive through all the time as a kid, its pretty aweseome and the buildings are pretty cool 2. Simsbury, I drove through there but I never really rated it good or bad, I just looked around and thought oh thats cool! 1. Never been there
I’ve lived in Ct for 50 years. I was a city cop 10 years then a city fireman for over 20. As soon as I retired, I moved out of Ct and have no plans to ever return. That was 12 years ago. I just watched this video and actually Ct has somehow gotten worse! The dramatic southwestern population shift and income inequality has rapidly expanded. The state is doomed. A lot of the information in this video is inaccurate. No one with a family should ever move to New Haven or Hartford. I’ve worked and lived in both of those places. They’re terrible. I barely made it out alive and sane. Cheshire? The highlight of Cheshire is a dog park? Oh yeah, that’s sounds about right. It’s probably near one of the two correctional facilities in Cheshire. The towns largest employer. Yay! Ct is boring as shit! And of course, according to this video, the “best” place to live is Greenwich? Greenwich? Really? Its basically a suburb of NYC and always has been. The rest of the state doesn’t get any Fairfield County news, even, which is where Greenwich is. Because even they know they are a suburb of NYC. Greenwich is a town for millionaire families. There is one housing project there where Black people lived back in the 90’s. But that is probably gone, with no mention of Black people being there in a historical sense. BTW, I am Black. Don’t move to Ct. It sucks. It does have four seasons. But they all suck. I told my three kids when they were in grade school to leave Ct and never come back. They listened. They have not been back since high school. They are in their 30’s now. I asked three lifelong friends from Ct to give me three great things about Ct, each. They could only come up with two things between the three of them. 1. “The shoreline is nice”. Yes it is, if you can get there with all the traffic, both ways. Then hope to find parking and or not get stopped by the cops or have your ears bursting from all the old guys on Harley’s. 2. “Ct is close to NYC and Boston”. Not really. You will be in traffic 2-3 hrs minimum in either direction. And that is if it doesn’t snow or rain. If it is, then double the time. Don’t move to Ct. Don’t even drive through Ct. if you don’t have to. There is really nothing to do or see there. My parents even moved out of Ct 5 years ago and never went back. Just sayin’.
@@Bhunnidb… although alot of people laugh at CT , great schools, plenty of jobs in manufacturing.NO catastrophic climate this year only 2 snow storms that need shoveling. Taxes not great but you get what you pay for. Worth taking a look.
@@Bhunnidb It really depends on your budget, but there are many great places to live in CT. Fairfield County is the most expensive area but has great towns like Ridgefield, Fairfield, and Wilton. In the Hartford area, Simsbury, Glastonbury, Avon, Canton, & Wethersfield are great. Along the shore I like Branford, Guilford, Madison, & Stonington. The most affordable part of CT is going to be Eastern CT, but it's far from jobs. Litchfield County is wonderful but also remote.
Total bull. Green witch? Half of this is done terrible. You know Middletown isn't far from 😊beaches and other things. I'm moving north. The towns are being taken over by roaches the police can't arrest or they cry racist. It's not my state anymore.
green witch is crazy

Is there flooding issues to worry about?

I’m going to be a green witch for Halloween now…😮
1. Ridgefield

4. Newtown
5. Norwalk
6. New Milford
7. North Stamford
Everywhere else is too expensive for what you get or too dangerous
Absolutely factual…if you are a millionaire
Ridgefield and Norwalk are beautiful areas.
Shelton, Milford, Fairfield, Southington, Wallingford, Trumbull, Monroe, Berlin, Bethel, and many more places are just fine.
East haven is underrated. Very good place to live IMO
Yale is in New Haven! Look at the illumination of this city.

exactly. Thank god Waterbury was not in the list
What cities in CT would you suggest?
I love New Haven…. Not everywhere is a ghetto
mystic is great -great pizza -great area to live in .
The fact that New Haven made a list for best city is insane! It’s actually one, if not, the most dangerous city in the state!!!!
New Haven & Hartford good places to live? Certainly you jest!

This video is inaccurate, agree with others who said so. For example, one of the bigger inaccuracies- Stamford public schools system is NOT good.
Hey, someone raised in CT here- WTF is The Lyceum!? Raised there nearly my entire life and never heard a single word about it!
❤❤❤

Please tell me safe places I’m curious

New Haven was great in 1925. West Hartford he means.
median income in greenwich is half a million, don't be fooled.
Thankyou for not mentioning any of the small towns, we really dont want any outsiders.
❤❤❤
Very good job sir ❤❤❤
What is a good hotel in Bristol? Close to the airport?
