I don't know where I was going with this lmao, but in this AU story, Lucy dies in the barrel, Tim gets to her when it's too late, his guilt overtakes him, and he starts to see Lucy everywhere, and visualise how their life could have looked together.

I'm pretty sure if Lucy did die, the guilt would eventually overwhelm Tim where he does something he shouldn't and winds up dying and his final moments he sees lucy again and his last words are "About time you came to work Boot".
