Cute and fast-moving and Chester Morris terrific as usual. Thumbs way up.
I love the Boston Blackie series. They used to show them on tv here, right before bedtime. Great fare for the old overnight caper.
The thing I love the most is that nothing throws Blackie. His smile after finding out “Gloria” is married to Higgins is priceless.
Chester Morris was such a great actor, I really liked him. I watch Boston Blackie movies from time to time and it is always a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing ❤
He looked allot like the late ray liotta

Great stories. Simple, interesting, and entertaining. Most enjoyable.
I love listening to the old Boston Blackie radio shows on SiriusXM but watching it on tv is so good. Thank you for sharing with us these old treasures 🙏🏻
Some free ones by different persons on youtube
Good clean fun. Lloyd Corrigan was so underrated over the years.
Love the Boston Blackie series. Used to watch them with my Mom when I was a kid.
I love this old show a lot of times I just listen to it for background sound
Thx for another excellent episode 😊 WWII era stateside made movie. Chester Morris is one heck of a talented actor. The supporting cast is far superior talent wise compared to today’s overpriced wannabe so called actors. 😊 God Bless THE GREATEST GENERATION ❤
Right on brother!
@ONESMEDIA great videos, loving the Boston Blackie series,
It's frankly amazing to me that film serials like this didn't survive. Oh, I can understand how television changed things and also how it probably changed the investment required in production, but I suspect the thing which went out of fashion the hardest was having full stables of actors on contract for dozens of projects. I noticed on Wikipedia that Columbia was kicking out 3 Boston Blackie films a year by 1946. Considering how many radio shows were in direct competition with a Boston Blackie style of story there must have been considerable public interest. Long live the Double Feature.
Love this movie.🥰🥰🥰
Thank you!!!
Feeling good, watching Chester Morris😊
I get the feeling that constantly calling someone "Runt" would not fly today.
Wow! Exciting. Thank you.
as a child in the 50's-'60's, i remember the b & w movies that were shown every sat after the cartoons had ended (on the only 3 channels available at that time lol). what i was most familiar with was sherlock holmes and the monster movies, but i really don't remember boston blackie. it wasn't until i was much older that i was able to enjoy those movies.
A MAN THAT MISPLACES A COMA IS CAPABLE OF ANYTHING..😂..
Those second feature (B") pictures had to contain a lot of novelty and charming features such as a humorous leading man and fellow characters in order to hold an audiences attention back in the day waiting for the feature film which would be shown last on a double or triple bill.
The guy who played the justice of the police looks familar?
I figured you had the movie in your videos since you had the rest of the series, but I might suggest you correct the spelling on Suspicion, you have it with an E so it could not be searched. Thank you for your uploads!
You want it correct create your own playlist. Stop criticizing those who are providing for the rest of us!it really isn’t necessary to correct everyone in your life especially on YT!
@@STORMY0O A little late to the party? Obviously the content creator cared because they changed the spelling a few months ago.
@@tinawozniak374they change it so they won't get copyrighted. And same thing for the comment up above who said they should correct the word suspicion .
@@aintnothingliketheoldskool This was posted a year ago, as you see I replied the previous poster that the content creator did change it to the correct spelling so in this case I don't think it had anything to do with being copyrighted. However, thanks for the insight, that is a good thought.
Oh, I wish I had a pencil-thin mustache, the Boston Blackie kind
He was a magician also
Steve Cochran is so young here.
do you really get to have manger scenes and sing carrolss without someone ripping them down. sounds beautiful.
Love ❤❤❤❤❤
What is the difference between shades and blinds? When Blackie said:the shades are down I thought of the swedish name for the same thing:pullcurtain, translated to english.
