Mom and Dad were so proud - they were at this concert. Floor said that she doesn't always look at them so as to not break in her performance.

Yes, Floor does the growling on this song. I don't think Marko ever headbangs, but the new bassist, Jukka, does. I always love seeing Tuomas headbang, though.
Regarding your question... On Beste Zangers, Floor said she's more comfortable in front of a stadium than a small crowd (such as on that show). And on her documentary that talks a bit about this concert, she said she's always aware of her parents in the crowd, but she can't look at them too much, because she gets choked up (literally), and that affects her singing. That doesn't really answer your question, but I think it's kind of in between. I think she's comfortable at this show, and surely loves her parents being there, but she just can't look at them very much.

Floor stated she could not look for them in the front row. She would get too emotional.
Here is a great documentary which goes into this show and her parents attendance. It is a 17 minute video involving her reunion with her singing class in The Netherlands. There are subtitles for some of the sections and some is in English. If you haven't checked this out I think you would love it. You will get to know Floor the woman and real person. Don't forget to take us all along for the ride.

There is a Dutch tv show ' klasgenoten' were they follow Floor before and after the Tampere concert they interview Floor together with her parents. Floor will tell you during that interview how she feels about her parents being there...😊

Hi again, Nikki. Another of my favorite Nightwish performances. Floor always does all the harsh growling on this song. By the way, I wouldn't feel pressured to react to specific stuff just to cover all three Nightwish singers. React to what you want to do. Personally, I vastly prefer Floor but that doesn't make my taste apply to everyone. But keep the Nightwish live performance reactions coming.

The best recording of Floor' s growls in this song I have found - together with a final face expression that wants you make run away as fast as possible - you can see/hear at Rock in Rio 2015. The sound of this concert recording is not so good but the camera work is fantastic.

There is dutch documentary called "The reunion" where she is shown with her parents prior to the Tampere concert. She seems pretty relaxed there. I believe I once read that, while performing "Strong"(from her After Forever days) with her mother present, she shouldn't look to her mother or she would get a lump in her throat.
I'm planning on making a watch with me video for that. It think it would be great since we're doing Tampere now. 😊
Howdy from Texas, Nikki! In my 20's ( back in the late 1970's to early 1980's, I travelled most of the Southern States, up through Georgia to Virginia. Then after a week of performing, and helping several small communities, we headed back through Pennsylvania, to Tennessee, through the Mississippi, and the back through Texas.
Our music usually sounded pretty much the same....I know that I have this same song with Floor and Marko singing the same song, and it's basically the same. You really don't want music to sound different as audiences want to listen to music like they are used to.

As far as plans go, finish Tampere first since we're already here, and do End Of An Era next.
Don't forget there's also the "Virtual Show at the Islander's Arms" they did for lockdown, and the Hellfest concert in Paris they livestreamed for free.

Your question about Floor and her parents...
In my opinion, Floor is seasoned enough to not be affected by something like that, needless to say her professionalism and commitment to the fans is the priority.
I'm not saying she's a cold fish, but she will do whatever it takes to perform as flawless a show as she can for her fans, and let's face it, her parents were fans too that day so that made it extra special for her.

Her mom did cry watching their little girl doing what she loves to do.

Keep in mind that Virtual Show and Hellfest were in support of their last album, "Hvman :II: Natvre,, so until you watch those, you will not hear any songs from that album.
There are plenty of music and lyric videos from that album if you wish to go in that direction.

Hi Nikki, yeah Floor growling, there are better venues for it - Wembley was supposed to be the best but this one is good also. This is the best venue for The greatest show on earth - can’t remember if you’ve done that one yet 🤔 if not it’s amazing!
Edit: You did the version of it at Buenos Aires, Tampere is a better version!

So weird, I listened to this song soooo many times and watche da lot of reactions just cause I love it....Never saw the Tampere reaction/version, so I love all the small details that are different from like BA or Wemb or Wacken, with this song...

It is insane that she can go from the Etheral to growl, but what really puts it over the Top is, she is headbanging aswell, just try on your own time to do the windmill and then try and talk normally, and then imagine try to hit those notes.

Definitely Floor growling and also in other versions. Regarding the parent thing, definitely more nervous, I can recall a time I had to recite a poem before the whole school with parent also there and I made my mother listen without standing there watching me. I don’t know whether she actually did but I could not see her, that was all that mattered to me.

It's a clip from a Dutch TV show. Floor and her former classmates from the Dutch Rock Academy sit in a classroom and watch how she is interviewed and followed by a TV-show host before and after this Nightwish's concert in Tampere, Finland. You will also meet Floor's lovely parents there... and you may also find a little tear in your eye.

Tampere is legendary but it's more or less the same setlist as Wembley.

Glad to hear that end of an era could be next. There are also a number of performances you need to see that are not part of full concerts you can see online, like Sahara and Scaretale. When you have time for some standalone Nightwish, I think there are a few non full length concert tracks we can recommend.
The problem with doing this after Wembley is that they’re essentially the same show with 5 of the songs swapped out. Tampere was in July with Wembley at the end of the tour in December. This is a great show in its own right but as a reaction it does feel a bit like retreading old ground.
I think this is proof that you don't read your comments because I guarantee everything I own that the Wembley version in the comments you got hundreds of people mentioning floor's growling because everyone will mention if someone doesn't realize she did the growling
She just said she listens and reacts to tons of other songs and couldn't remember if Floor did the growls, chill out
I do read my comments..and it really has nothing to do with comments, I just couldn't remember if Floor growled in a performance I watched 10 months ago. 🤔
