this.... is such a mood. Its a sickening nostalgia of what was and what can never be again. Looking back at it, it truly was a different world, Pre-2000
On a serious note, I know you're an EDM musician and you have some bangers but i didn't expect THIS song to so hard based on the short. It had touches that reminded me of late 90's/ early 2000's dance music, and your signature blend of goof and doom makes this peak Joman. I'm going to be playing this song more than I should.
I think I’ve listen to and watched this about 20 times. It’s nostalgic, it both hurts and makes you happy - absolute masterpiece. You deserve millions and millions of hits.
A good rule of linguistics is once people in their 30s or older are using it, the kids are not. As an interesting aside, the internet doesnt seem to have sped up the process and it remains locked to verbal communication
This is absolute fucking FIRE. This needs to blow up and be seen everywhere. Stumbled across this on Facebook today and I'm so glad I did. Hits you right in the synthwave and nostalgic feels.
This is why we are the most nostalgic generation. We remember feeling safe and haven't felt it in a long time. 90s was the golden age of childhood. We were insulated from grown up issues and we hade old fashioned outdoor playtime AND technology.
Hey Joman, i know this was a tongue in cheek poke at the world to begin with before you even finished it, kind of weird how things go viral isn’t it. But it’s really helping me today. It’s like audio validation. So thanks for making this.
Found it today through Facebook, heard it 50+ times on repeat. Mass sharing it with every group, and speed running through the shorts and videos! Subscribed and clicked on notifications! Can't wait for more. Also loving the castlevania one!
Was happy to see the 'easter egg' of Carl Sagan's 'Demon Haunted World' when singing about the prophets' dread! He's my all time hero and that book is a favourite, his observations spot on. Glad you're getting him out there for the modern audiences, with such bangers no less.
This is such a rush of feel good nostalgia but woven into an overall theme of despair and dread. I've never laughed, grooved, and and felt deeply uncomfortable at the same time like this. 10/10 dude, for sure.
🙌This is the best thing I've seen on the internet all day. ALL OF THE NOSTALGIA FEELS! I also lost it at reticulating splines😅I'm still playing that game hahaha
YESSSSSSS THE REQUESTS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!! This is a mood, a bop, a feeling. This is amazing. Thank you for being badass Joman Update: this absolutely SLAPS on a good sound system. Blasted it on my subs in my truck and it's even more awesome when it's blaring.
Tell me about it that loop was so good it huanted me it's was like a earworm I just couldn't get rid of. But now that the track is complete I can finally get closure😅
Banger after Banger! a good couple of your mixes/songs are in the partner and i's daily playlist! right know using it to gain motivation to go LIVE. What are your rules for playing a song on stream? i gotta bump this somtimes out of the blue and would love to share this with my community.
I really like this. Lyrics full of dark humor, yet wrapped in soft, nougatty fluff with a danceable beat. I too never thought we would live to see the day when religious lunatics in our country managed to band together to try to take over the government, but such is life. Might as well write a song about it...
There's something about this that is really depressing but it hits so close to home. I think for a lot of us looking back, this felt like when society really peaked. Feels like it's been downhill ever since.
In 1999 I was around 18ish . I had traveled across America with a friend in his Ford explorer with a camper top and my dog(RIP) Noodles. Went from Atlanta to Hollywood over the course of two to three months. Stopping in the bigger and smaller place along I-20 and I-10 😂 Then when we eventually got back to Austin, July-ish , I split with my buddy(we planned to meet again in New Orleans at Pirate Alley Cafe on Halloween) then hitchhiked to Dallas to see a friend who had a squat near deep elum. We then , now with two ladies who had our affections and Noodles, hopped a train down to San Antonio. Then we hopped another to New Orleans about 15 days till Halloween.. It gets a little fuzzy after that! Used to drink a lot back then! Great song, dude! I got my old anarcho punk band's full album and lyrics up on my page. If you're not into that kind of stuff, don't torture yourself😂. If you are, Just look for the video "cop dope" you'll see album art in the thumbnails. Really though, rad song. Now I'm going to listen to the song again. Hope you're well and taking care of yourself, dude! ✊
I liked the short so much it had played in my head for a year or more, and I went to find it again and found this and wow this is far too hard for what it is but wow
This song slaps so hard it destroyed my childhood.
This is criminally unrecognized still, such a bop
this.... is such a mood. Its a sickening nostalgia of what was and what can never be again. Looking back at it, it truly was a different world, Pre-2000
I turned 18 in 99, I think this video sums up why I grew up jaded quite nicely.
Still slapping this daily since day 1, love it like the memory the 90s left on me, love your life Joman!!❤
The Pirate of Peace
¿Vinny w/A why?

Bruh, this is a time machine 🎉🔥🔥🔥🔥💯🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I laughed. I cried. I got anxious. 13/10

I can agree completely he definitely captured the 90's just as I remember it.
Easily played this over 30 times already today. Fantastic

Joman is soooo funny. Love following his media! The best!!!
Do the kids still say "bop"? Cuz that was a bop.
No but the generation vibing with this does in this scenario (it's me, I also called it a bop)
Maybe, I'm too old to know..
A certified one.
A good rule of linguistics is once people in their 30s or older are using it, the kids are not. As an interesting aside, the internet doesnt seem to have sped up the process and it remains locked to verbal communication
I hope not
Wine-drunk, getting traumatized by Silent Hill? I feel called out in the most specific way. Were you in the room that night?
This is absolute fucking FIRE. This needs to blow up and be seen everywhere. Stumbled across this on Facebook today and I'm so glad I did. Hits you right in the synthwave and nostalgic feels.
It was an amazing time to be alive... in retrospect
This is why we are the most nostalgic generation. We remember feeling safe and haven't felt it in a long time. 90s was the golden age of childhood. We were insulated from grown up issues and we hade old fashioned outdoor playtime AND technology.
This should have millions of views!
This has been pretty much playing non-stop for the past week for me. I pray the algor-rhythm blesses you further
As timeless as We Didn't Start The Fire

It’s like audio validation.
So thanks for making this.

Thanks for making a full version!
This is gonna blow. Mark my words.
God I have been waiting forever for this to release AND IT'S SO DAMN GOOD ❤🎉
This is such a rush of feel good nostalgia but woven into an overall theme of despair and dread. I've never laughed, grooved, and and felt deeply uncomfortable at the same time like this. 10/10 dude, for sure.
You know, "joke" music only works if it's good. And this is really fucking good.
This showed up on my facebook feed. What a surprise bop!
Best artist I found through a Facebook Ad since Thumpasaurus.
🙌This is the best thing I've seen on the internet all day. ALL OF THE NOSTALGIA FEELS! I also lost it at reticulating splines😅I'm still playing that game hahaha
i still dont know how this hasnt gone viral. It probably will in like 5 years.
We asked and this absolute legend more than deliverd, love it!
This song is amazing
Hell yeah 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 this is such a serotonin release while at the same time achieving a sobbing in the corner inducing mess of an emotion
I waited months for the full length version of this and was not disappointed. I did tear up a few times though.
THIS IS SO GOOD. I been listening to it on Spotify nonstop.
"Reticulating splines" slayed me as an OG Sims fan. Thank you for your service.
I thought the full song was all I needed 🤌🏻
Elder millennial satirical bops never sounded so good
I love it, Brother! Again, you and I should run for office together. Don't rule it out! ❤
This deserves to go VIRAL man, this is fucking awesome
I'm happy we have the full song, but i'm sad I can no longer us "I'm working on it™" in reference to this song.
We need more full versions man. I make of course do your thing, but I love this!
YESSSSSSS THE REQUESTS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!
This is a mood, a bop, a feeling.
This is amazing. Thank you for being badass Joman
Update: this absolutely SLAPS on a good sound system. Blasted it on my subs in my truck and it's even more awesome when it's blaring.
I can’t stop listening to this song 🤣😂 I’m not even a big EDM guy.
I have to listen to this every day even tho I was not old enough to have experienced drinking in 1999
These are amazing. 😮
"I can't get past 1999" - that part was a punch in the gut. We were happy and we didn't know it.
Big facts
This slaps so hard the US is studying how to use it as a weapon
Joman is real talk ❤
You deserve a Grammy for this masterpiece.
I definitely dig this. So glad it was the whole song and not another short teaser clip.
This gave me real chills and goosebumps.
The Packard Bell Legend computer at the end along with the line "reticulating splines" that got me
This is a bonafide knee-slapper.
Reticulating Splines. 🥰
Also, it was dad’s vodka that we replaced with water and put back in the freezer.
i miss 1999... when life still had hope...
Release the instrumental too please
I'm actually finding myself addicted to this song at this point 😭🤣
How can I like this video more than once? Because I’d like to like this video more than once.
Brilliant
Long awaited! I had the loop stuck in my head for months ! This did not disappoint!
Tell me about it that loop was so good it huanted me it's was like a earworm I just couldn't get rid of. But now that the track is complete I can finally get closure😅
I love this song so much man, I've already listened to it like 4 or 5 times today. Keep coming back to it for more. Thank you so much dude
Maaan this is an eternal hit....seriously......
Before I heard this song I couldn't remember 1999. Now I still can't, but it feels like I could.
Dude, thank you. Literally got the music goosebumps from that. ❤❤❤
...the golden years, a great time to be there, oh yeah GGz all
I love this so much, but the nitpicker in me is saying "This really sounds more like a mix of the 80s and 2005"
1999...last time I was in real love...great song
Thank you :) I've been on a nostalgia trip lately so I wanted to hear the full version 😁

Why does this person keep getting promoted to me on Threads and IG? 😂
They must think you like me 🫶
@@Jomanmusic I actually do like this but I have no idea how it was recommended. I suppose that’s the magic of the algorithm
