Not sure how I messed that up because I already put a gem socket ON MY OWN SIN, but the better upgrade path for that in most situations should be Gem Slot instead of dmgcon perks if you factor in Runeglass dmg.
@duke i put a gem slot on sin (I play it with spear offhand). For the extra damage from the gem itself and the bonus damage from the runeglas (additional debuff and extended duration from the sin perk (NOT TESTED))
I don't think AGS should change the devourer trial challenge for the axe. It is just very satisfing to become good and finish the sandworm and have a new perk for the weapon.
funny I looked up how to upgrade my Creed boots. i found this video which did not tell me anything. when I open the Kiln my creed boots don't even show as an option for upgrade.
AGS locking the axe perk behind a 20 person trial just shows how out of touch they are with this game. Some servers dont even peak enough players to actually be able to form groups for worm during peak hours now, and even the servers that can, most people are not able to complete it, because if even a few of the team is not good enough the whole group is fucked. Its so bad that on my server companies have started selling slots for worm for 50k a piece, and people are actually paying it because worm is that unobtainable.
Doing the old Arenas/old Content for Artifacts is next level trolling+shitting on players from AGS... they said they dont want players to do useless/outdated stuff, yet they did S5 (fu AGS)
If all you're ever doing in the game is play wars with a pocket healer, sure. I recommended Conditioning plenty of times in this video, but I definitely won't recommend it for people who plan to use an artifact in both PvE and PvP or purely in PvE.

WDYM fix devourer quest? Only reason to go do it rn is this artifact upgrade. That is actually decent idea from their side.

Venom I say Keen Vault Kick to chain it into a nice heavy attack to have an almost guaranteed crit with trenchant crit damage
i did the devour, tempest fury get realy better with the last perk, but its still an ok artifact
