Omg! I am amazed at what this chap does single-handedly! Great video. I felt pretty encouraged but hope I will be able to take that black bit out that sits on the engine. It looks really tight.
Thanks jay. Never did an estima , the vid showed me where the sump plug is . I stupidly sold my ramps a couple months ago so had to do a slenderman to get to it.
Very good Have to disagree with Michael below. Don't really need a torque wrench for spark plugs. They have masses of thread and they aren't a moving part. From your video they will never be over tightened, and they won't come loose
A well presented video for the DIY mechanic. My only criticisms are that the oil on the ignition coils from the leaking rocker cover gasket should have been replaced as it would eventually short out the coils. Also a torque wrench should have been used to tighten the spark plugs and sump drain plug to the correct torque values. I understand that some DIY mechanics wouldn't have a torque wrench available, but a mention of using one to prevent overtightening the plugs and damaging the aluminium head threads was worth talking about. Very good video otherwise.
Mate this is such a good video, I watched because I need to change my air filter and you’ve made it very clear how to do. I’ve now seen how spark plugs are changed, do you think it possible for someone with little mechanical knowledge to change them themselves? Cheers
@@jaysworkshopgarage I love him too. he only gets oil from me from shell hx7 5w40 with the additive from "michael maukner m2" the engine is a lot quieter in my opinion
I liked how you stepped with your foot on a 10 mm socket and plugged it in the wrench. Great video. It looks like you did the whole job with one hand.
lol thanks they call me the one hand mechanic 😂
Perfect bud. This is basically my car and it needs doing. really appreciate the video cheers
Your very welcome glad to help

Thanks for the positive feedback the black bit will come off with a good tug
@@jaysworkshopgarage I hope so :)
@@logicalson good luck with it
Please do not undo clips and bolts with the oil cap removed. Drop a 10 mm bolt down there and you create a new pain in the rear !
Hasn’t happened so far but yes I can imagine look

Thanks for the feedback my friend rocker cover was later replaced 👍🏽
So replace rocket cover gasket or the oil on coils or the coils?
Do you have video or link for the torque wrench on these 🙏
Or the rocket cover?

How do I check if my Toyota Estima 2005 has timing belt or timing chain?
Undo the timing cover to reveal but i think they are all timing chain
2.4 is chain driven and the 3.0 v6 is belt driven.

Hello, a great video.. Thank you. Can you tell me where the fuel filter is? Greetings from Germany and have a nice Christmas time
Hi if I’m correct these fuel filters in this model are lifetime warrantied so you don’t change them.
