@@justasimpleguy7211 Yeah, I experience the northern part too. We pulled off the Northway to Bolton Landing for a lunch break. As soon as we got into town the traffic was gridlock. Never going back.
@@justasimpleguy7211 Yeah, I live in a tourist town. It sucks where I live in the summer too. I love it when they are gone! No traffic, no police sirens, you can go grocery shopping again, you can go out to dinner without having to make a reservation 2 weeks ahead, the roar of the cigarette boats and motorcycles are gone, the jet skis are gone, I can fish in again without being crowded out. Etc. So when I try to escape to the north country the last thing I want is more of the same!
@@jpn5525 Next time you're in the area try Hague. It's very small village directly on the lake maybe ten miles north of Bolton Landing on Route 9N. Things calm down dramatically a mile or two north of Bolton Landing. Between Bolton Landing and Hague there's Tongue Mountain on the lake side of 9N and the Lake George Wild Forest on the other side of 9N. Excellent for hiking, backpacking, camping, trout fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, snowmobiling. It's pretty placid all the way to the northern end of the lake at Ticonderoga, a good 20 miles north of Bolton Landing.
Congratulations on 1000 subscribers!
1000 subscribers! How exciting. Congratulations! And great video as always.
If you enjoy sitting in bumper to bumper traffic, go to Lake George
That's the village of Lake George. It's a tourist trap. There's a LOT more to Lake George north of the village.

@@jpn5525 Great! I can only hope more tourists develop your attitude. ;-)
