- See the Qantas Business Class experience in 2022, in this review of flight QF1 on the Kangaroo Route from Sydney Airport to London Heathrow via Singapore Changi. The flight was on a twelve year old Airbus A380 aircraft, registration VH-OQJ. The flight was on 8 December 2022.

See, this is how you present a proper airline product review. You kept it short and to the point without the unnecessary BS that MANY UA-camrs tend to do. Well done.
Well done. Showed me everything important, and nothing that wasn’t. It is one of my pet hates when watching reviews of products or locations when the reviewer seems more interested in getting their face on the screen than showing me what I have come to see. I don’t care what they look like or what color their skin is, and can’t understand why anybody would. Keep it up.

I watched your review of the "Qantas First Class Heathrow to Singapore" before watching this. You asked to comment if the extra cost for First Class was worth the difference. I don't know what you paid for either trip but I felt the Business Class experience was pretty average compared to the First Class. I've never flown First Class on Qantas but have flown Qantas Business class, albeit a few years ago. I've flown Emirates Business Class on their A380s quite a few times over recent years and have to say, I find their Business Class to be significantly better than Qantas. I have to say though, Qantas and Emirates crew are the best I've come across. Unfortunately, First Class on Emirates would do a great injustice to my wallet. First times seeing your reviews. Looking forward to watching more.
Great video! Have you noticed how loud the toilet was when flushed? I got 15k seat because it is next to a window but right behind it is a toilet.. wondering if the flushing noise will keep waking me up. This is the only seat left close to the window

But the cutlery is ALWAYS FEEZING COLD for some reason. Premium Economy on Qantas gets the real cutlery & crockery too…. Still freezing cutlery. They must store them in the fridge before service.
Wine served in what appeared to be non wine glasses. Hi. You never mentioned if the seating and space were comfortable and worth the extra dollars. Cheers

Thanks for the comment. In the air everything was as smooth as other aircraft. Takeoff maybe slightly less smooth than other aircraft but not to any significant level.
I'm planning to fly LHR - Sydney & back in Qantas Business later this year. Can you request a wake up call from the crew or do you have to set your own alarm?
From memory I think they asked if you wanted to to woken up for breakfast. The reality was I was wide awake before they started serving breakfast - they seemed to priorities anyone who was already awake.

Lovely, breezy video. I especially like the music that you chose. The services on these flights seemed pedestrian. Those chicken meatballs look horrible.

No. Despite recently refurbing their A380s, Qantas don’t provide WiFi.
So old the design. Hope the new one come soon next year
Great review but don't you ever realise why your videos only get 1k hits and the likes of noel and Tim get 300k+ view?
No wine glasses. Not good. Mind you that was the only negative. I do wish that reviewers would showcase the side by side seats as not all of us travel alone.
Probably easier to store & less likely to break?
Can t Qantas afford real wine glasses ? May they should serve coffee and tea also in a glass 😂
Stemless glasses seem to be the norm of airlines these days. I think they don’t move about so much during turbulence. So it’s for the passengers benefit really.

You got diddled we flew premium economy on qf1 qf2 and got a top up with our wine pre flight.
The Sydney Lounge was fairly meh. Food looked good. Thanks.
Our journey from indonesia jakarta to sydney and return, both were not pleasant. The foods were not good. Water bottle limited to 1 per person, no extra. Also the air stewardess was not friendly as my wife just pointed at the meal, the stewardess shouted "don't touch" . What a behaviour to business class passanger. Comparing our next trip from jakarta to Zurich with Emirates were so pleasant . A380 is best and the meals were also best served with all polite stewardess.

Singapore airlines heaps better
It’s terrible in comparison to business class on Qatar , Emirates and other airlines. I travelled Bussiness class last week on Qantas. Their service is like economy service. Menu is very limited and the food is low quality. Also They had limited movies and entertainment that even economy class on other airlines had more options. One funny thing is when I was changing the movie I got a compulsory survey to fill in order to continue using the screen which is ridiculous hahaha.
