In this video, I made a Minecraft, but Challenge / Difficulty where Spooky / halloween / scary gameplay is key. The entire game of Minecraft is changed into something scary. A lot of people have done "Minecraft, but" challenges on these difficulties, so I figured making a new one is the best thing to do. Have fun, goodluck. You will need it... Minecraft but challenges, Minecraft difficulty and lots more fun Minecraft mods / plugins / datapacks. Custom coded survival challenge by Fundy. This gamemode was super funny and hilarious to make / play. I had a great time and making the video was great. I wonder if it's possible to do a Minecraft, but style video / challenge / competition / difficulty with this! Would love to see it! This was a really funny concept to work on, and I definitely enjoyed it all the way through. I hope you enjoy the video as well!

Fundy is actually a mastermind, this is how people get scared, sounds building intensity. Like the heartbeat, cave sounds, how loud the flashlight click is, the shading. Well done.
I feel something that would have pushed this beyond epic into nightmare fuel, is to add a mob that only spawns in caves and peaks out from behind blocks at random just to give you a spook

i cannot take any scary stuff at all but im still watching this. once a friend randomly played a game about being a baby sitter for a demon or something disguised as a baby and i got freaked out and had nightmares for ages lol and they were like its not that scary

Oh, I can ACTUALLY explain this one. YOU made it, YOU made your fears and paranoia into a work, THAT'S why it's so effective on you, YOU made it.
But he also knows what to expect since he literally made it and usually not knowing what to expect amplifies fear quite a bit so it's still impressive it worked on him
@@dollenrm Not so much as you'd think, phobias and paranoias, your irrational fears, depending on what they are as some are harder to represent in an art form than others, it doesn't really matter if you know they're coming or not. So, as an example, I can google stuff that I know freaks me out to give to others as examples of such things, I know I'm looking them up, I know what I'm going to see, doesn't really do as much to quell it as you'd think.
I have 1 suggestion for this difficulty, that's to add a footstep sound effect that can sometimes play, and make it so the sound subtitles say footsteps when this happens

-Randomly spawns on the sky as big flying object
-Not harmful, just spooki (can be changed ofc)
-Makes a Loud Roar (u can barely hear another sound while this happen making it harder to know you're in danger or not)
Random Elder guardian jumpscares
-only happens when underwater
-spooki
Raining reduce vision (blind effect)
Lightning has a higher chance to hit you
Arachnophobia(oversized spider) - mob
-Makes crackling sounds when it's close
-If the crackling sounds become faster, the Arachnophobia spots you and know chasing you
-Minecraft's spider eyes can glow so take advantage of that
-Becomes faster underwater(inspired by Dream becoming a spider while chasing George in one of their videos)
Eyes deep in the dark
-Endermen's glowing eyes
-Can be The Visitor or just some eyes to spook you
-Spider's glowing eyes
-Can be Arachnophobia or just some eyes to spook you
-Appear 5-15 blocks away from you
Villages are spooki
-Villagers have NoAI making them look like a still, terrifying dolls in Villages
-Whispering sounds or cheerful children sounds can be heared in Villages
-Killing one of the Villagers will cause the others to hunt you down until you leave the village(without the walking animation)
-Staring at a Villager for too long can trigger the whole get tf outta my village scenario

-Each enderpearl you collect changes it's expression(from happy to angry)
-At the Angry state, it's color turns red(the sky and the atmosphere around you also turns red)
Welp, that's all I have in mind :D
Just a suggestion doesn't mean you need to add all of them
Just Adding some of them can delay the release date of this mod so not sure if you want extra work

Take into consideration that coding all of that in takes a tremendous amount of effort and time, Fundy said he plans on releasing this to be downloadable in a few days and I think he'll want to move on after that.

Tip for shade: make them come closer to you when you walk, they closer fast when running so crouching they don't get closer and just walk around. So another words they can hear your footsteps.
Its funny to think that without the spooky lighting, fundy would just be scared in broad daylight and jumping and panicking for no reason

After the Nether update, I think Nether noises dethroned cave noises as the creepiest thing in Minecraft.
I don’t know if it’s just me but I badly hurt my knee today to an extent where I can’t walk anymore. I watched this video after that happened and it made my day way better. Watching any video of/with Fundy makes my day better even if I lost my ability to walk for a while on that day. :)
