I’d argue this scene is done better in the Italian version. I just went back to the Norwegian one to compare, and I noticed how lacking it was in emotions compared to this one. Here, Ele was caught off guard and in tears just when the phone rang. In the original, Noora slowly stopped singing / ended her serenading before the phone buzzed, and it wasn’t shown how William reacted at the end. There was something missing. I still adore the original, but GODDAMN ITALIA SKAM! Knows! What! They’re! Doing!! The chemistry between Ele and Edo is unrivaled; so much push and pull. And singing “Creep”? To illustrate how much humility he has? Brilliant. Just fucking beautiful. Can’t wait to see the rest!!
Reminding myself that Eleonora's cry wasn't actually planned, but Benedetta (the actress) got really emotional, makes me appreciate at a higher level this scene and the all remake itself.
