We all know that Phil is an abusive brute and nobody can justify the things that he’s done in his time but the one and only thing that I sympathise for Phil is his addiction he’s battled with it for most of his life and currently in 2023 is the longest time he’s ever been sober with the last time him relapsing was in 2016 and this video really shows a different side to Phil Mitchell that makes you feel sorry for him.

Everyone has their own demons, for Phil it was booze. Glad this character got back on his feet.
The way phil is now in 2025 eastenders should use this as a flashback sequence for all the sadness hes been through 😢 for the 40th anniversary ❤
