Hi Brad, really enjoyed the vid and the battle on track at Zolder! That result got me to a new ELO high of 1870 and was probably my best finish yet. Definitely had to concentrate on not cooking the tyres, helped with track position but made the 2nd stint super tricky :/ Jack had far too much pace and put me under pressure perfectly, great move! Look forward to seeing you on track again :)
Incredible driving Jeff! No reason that ELO wont keep climbing if you keep driving like that. You taught me a lot about racing at Zolder with that tyre strategy.
Bro i am the green nr36 McLaren lol. Really fun to see the race from your pov. It was a really fun race and nice battles, hope to race agains you again!
So cool! Loved the race mate. I think everyone around did a really good job of keeping it clean and fun. Certainly hope to see you on track again soon!
Great video, as usual, good to see the racing is getting cleaner. Apart from the qualifying incident and the pit exit, I’m sure that’s not how you are supposed to be rejoining the racing line. Racing with faster drivers with more experience will definitely make you quicker. Good luck for the next races, looking forward to the videos.
Thanks again! Yea it was close for so much of that race. I really enjoyed it, and was impressed by everyone's driving! Results are getting harder to get now though, but it is making me better for sure.
Another great video mate, really enjoying your content. Have you considered creating your own discord server? I haven't seen a 'new' channel blow as much as yours, and I think you should take full advantage and have a place where all your community can connect and share any tips/tricks and just chat in general. Keep up the fantastic work.
Thanks mate! Yes I have been think about that a bit recently. This was all stuff I thought would be 12 months away, and all those plans are needing to be brought forward quickly haha. I think realistically it will have a bit of a launch in the new year. But I really want to connect with all the amazing people like yourself!
Fantastic racing dude! I love racing at Zolder, especially in the bimmer. Do you raise the front ride height a little bit to be able to comfortably take more of the chicane kerbs?
Thanks mate! Yea Zolder is a lot of fun. I think the set up had a little extra ride height. I certainly still have some more time to find at the chicane. Was trying to not take too much risk there, and just focus on good clean exit. Sort of looking forward to the next time LFM brings Zolder up!
Ill give it a try. I think bonnet cam is still ok for that. The pit lane assist overlay helps with lining it up early, so its less of a problem. But anything to help the pitstop I will try haha.
My "fix" for my pit issues has been to glide in, brake but not enough to stop, then roll it in the final meter and brake full. I lose time but I don't lose several seconds.
@@BradleySettersMotorsport You could also try to really nail it and 100% brake when the pit overlay says you are 10m away from pitbox. It's riskier, but if you nail it it's the faster way to do a pitstop. If the pitlane is bumpy, then I wouldn't recommend because the distance to fully brake might differ.
@@TzeiEm This is what I have been trying. Its close to working really well haha. I was much closer the second race, so might just need to practice that abit more.
Thank you! Yes I really like the BMW. It is very different to the Ferrari, and you have to wrestle it a lot more. But there is good potential in this car for me, and hoping I can keep finding some more speed in the coming weeks. Just need to learn how to be gentler on the tyres during the stint haha.
@@BradleySettersMotorsport You should try the Mustang, I drive it in all my GT3 races and it is an animal, you need to balance it through the corners with the throttle. It’s hard on tyres and easy to spin coming out of 2nd gear corners.
@@laplimitpush not at all. A racing incident is if both people are responsible for the incident. That is not the case here, since Bradley braked at his normal bp and the other guy either missed his bp by accident or just didn't care. In both scenarios it is the MCLarens fault.
@@KlerikerNero hmm yeah report away however I'm under the view point that this incident was natural consequence, It would still be classified as a racing incident with no penalties applied regardless who was at fault.
Yea I checked the replay. He just over committed to the chicane and didn't take me into consideration. Its a shame, as he knew full well I was on a lap as well. But it wasn't an intentional contact, just a difference in line for the corner and some over driving from his side I feel.
honestly bonnet camera never worked for me :) i tried to get pitstops right with it but never succeeded, for me it was easier to memorize where my bonnet should be in relation to the marks on the lollipop sign :)
I think the bonnet cam is helping. Only used it a few times now, but it does help when you have to go through a car just before the box. Will try it for a few more weeks at least.
Pitstops are all about risk vs reward: if you push hard during your pitstop you risking getting DT or missing the box the reward are only a few tenth. So I am leaving a big margin when entering pits and when I arrive at my box. Maybe I lose a couple of tenth but I am not risking losing multiple seconds. the risk is not worth the reward.
Yes at pit entry I always try leave margin. Need to avoid that drive through at all costs! I think the box stop is something I can nail with the overlay I have. Just needs more practice.
Yea it wasn't ideal. I think he over committed to the chicane on that lap, and I was in the way haha. Don't think it was intentional, as he was fully on the brakes. But yea, a bit of a shame for stuff like that to happen.

An amazing track, and a lot of fun to drive. Will need to get track side to watch some racing there next year!

GG’s mate! As always amazing work here, keep it going
Thanks for the GG's!
Brilliant racing mate! Was also lovely to see you POV of my overtake on Jeff! Pleasure sharing that track! Hoping for many battles ahead
It was a great overtake mate! See you in battle soon, and hopefully I will one day finished ahead of you 😂
@ Perhaps you will this week at Paul Ricard! Not a strong track for the McLaren. Hope to you out the mate
I have been struggling with PR in practice this week. Missing about a second currently. Imola could be my vibe this week haha.

Try giving chase camera a go for your pitstops. It helps a tonne, when you're driving through the other cars, to spot your box.

I might need to try this. It pains me so much when the car needs to be moved! Got to start nailing these.

You can report that yellow McLaren that ruined your quali lap. I would do that if he didn't apologized. Teach him some racing etiquette.
