I didnt put a winner on the video purposely for the fact that I will receive criticism from supporters of whichever brand so I left it without a verdict but you could use headphones to hear it for yourself and judge, also theres the back glass flex from both subs.
With all that being said, the DD is the winner of this small test
My opinion dd is the baddest.all those new brands still not ready.some are louder maybe, but dds are loud and clean and they out long time

you forget to show or mention the amplifier, on my experience DD always can take more power that the DD is mention ! other brands are difficult to achieve this.
They were running on a mtx thunder 7801 amplifier and it almost blew the DB drive sub.
The DD audio 600 is in a higher category than the g2 you have to compare with the G7 .
Yeah I know, I happen to have those 2 speakers at the time so it was time for a little fun..
Dd 608 is a $300 woofer so is db g2 series in 8 inch so comparing these two are perfect. G5 series is more expensive so is g7.
Dd sounds better and preforms louder, but can't decide cause of the enclosure for each sub is different for them to preform better, hey buddy can 8 ask what's your opinion on the dd redline 812d subwoofer I don't know if you have seen it or used it but it looks like a really good subwoofer,
I actually used the 712 model and it was loud, if I had to compare it to a sub, I would compare it to the older 1500 DD sub or a double 12 champion series pioneer

By any chance could you get an 812d it is such a beast looking sub with 4 inch coils and everything=)

New DD amps sound different than the ones from 4-5 plus years ago
I believe the LP frequency on the bass amps are different
@@caribbean_car_culture yea because I had an old m2 which sounded great but I just got the new m2c and lows are lacking but the highs hit harder at the same LP frequency as my old amp. I prefer the older ones
@@Xxbamafan the DD I knew from about 10 years ago are a lot different from the ones made now. They were made to give a lot of lows years ago but now there made for higher bass so they make the amps now to match the high bass subs made now. I like the older 2500 and 3500 models from years ago

al alex D2 I’m familiar with the g5 but we wanted to use something different this time. I’ve used almost all of the Db drive subs so far and they play incredible but my cousin saw the DD and decided to try one. If you look further through my past videos, I did an unboxing video with a g5
Db drive is taking over the game with their new shit they got coming out, I just bought me the G5 15’s and them bitches r awesome!
What are the dimensions of the vent used? and how many Hz toning?
That was just a box made as small as possible but it's made so long ago that I don't have the specs for it anymore, it wasn't made to optimize the performance but to sound good for as less space as possible. It was playing around 40hz to get a fuller range for other kinds of music
What's better g5 or rockville destroyer 12s?
I honestly can't say, I've seen what the rockville looks like and they look awsome but I've never heard them play to give an honest opinion

Yo tengo ese mismo db drive y un skar igual de 8 y se escucha mejor el skar a pesar de tener menor capacidad en especificaciones..
The reason I’m watching this video is A guy wants to trade me 2 of these in a box for my single 12” ct sounds meso 12” will they hit harder than a single 12 or no? Thanks
Which one? The dd or the db drive?
That meso is a monster, I wouldn't trade for the 8" personally. Those 8" subs don't take much rms power. They play well, especially the dd 8" but the meso would have an edge over them once it's the one I'm thinking about.
@@caribbean_car_culture thanks a lot for your reply I swear I just feel like I would be losing on the deal if I traded. But that meso does get down pretty good and has a really tight sounding bass sounds great in all music also

Looking at a system rn. Was looking at db but saw saw this. Is dd subwoofers much more pricey than db??
Actually not much more pricey though. A couple hundreds but when you think it's for an 8" sub, I get where you're coming from. "BUT" the DD sounds incredible and when we ran them, the DD is handling over its rated wattage and going strong without giving off any burnt smell but when I ran the DB, it started to smell burnt rather quickly and the DB had already been broken in while the DD was brand new.

@@pinoiboi13 I too like my old school, I've got a couple myself, I'm using an old school thunder for my bass. I would say that the dd and db dont disappoint at all. Old school mixed with new school is a match made in heaven..

DD subs real nice but there’s a lot of world destroyer subs on the market now.. they gotta step up their game because the audio game getting tough

Digital design blows easily. Even with clean power set properly. They have weak cooper voice coils.
